Absolutely! I really like the thought of the witch blending so well with the rest of the common infected. I just think the witch still needs to carry that "yikes" factor when you encounter it. And I don't think the claws would be enough for these to stand out from the rest of the common infected.

Yeah I'll have to redo this mod at some point.

Would be better if there was a version where she kept her claws.

Well, Coffe, while today's interpretation of "witch" is associated with females, the term is actually associated with their field of study. Wizards seemingly focusing more on arcane magic, and witch focusing on things like medicine/potions(this is an extremely paraphrased explanation). So, a male witch is still correct.

iirc there was a male witch model, and perhaps someone did an RNG version as well

Likely the latter one, as the Witch just plain uses the original pre-TLS female CI textures that never had color modulation. If I make those textures into separate independent files, it would slightly bloat the mod's size but save me and you a lot of trouble.

You should add in the description that any common zombie texture alterations that affect those models also alter this witch. I get witches in neon yellow pants/skirts and bright purple tights. I have several mods, but I think it may be this one

I understand, and there are "Generic Survivors" by Rex that basically convert L4D1 CI into Survivors with more human skin tones.

hey i have an idea. i always wanted a common infected as survivors mod. that randomize the survivors to look like the common infected. perhaps a l4d1 female zoey that randomizes. not like the nurse but normal clothing. if you understand me.

actually, a witch script that'd have 50 health but still one shot you regardless would be a good idea, just make them faster and resistant to explosions, fire, and gunshots, just bully the bitch with your BARE HANDS!

alright its working again. i forgot to turn off the male/female witch before using this (but i was really hoping it would work like that. but nah) but thank you i will remember that to another time.

@volunteer, most likely an error caused by playing both online and locally in one game session. Or Workshop failure.

I'd like to do something about the hands, add a default Witch head, and add more skin colours, but it's currenty going nowhere. And I never planned to edit the skins, blood or otherwise.

This gave me an idea that I'd really love to see. I'm a huge fan of the eye glow effect the witch has in this game, I was wondering if that eye effect could possibly be put on all the common infected (including all the L4D1 commons) and maybe the special infected too? I'm a huge fan of scary horror styles and I always loved how creepy the Witch's eye glowing is. I've always wanted to see someone make something like that as a mod for all the infected but nobody has. Could you maybe see about it? I think that'd be really cool.

@ANGTFT, the Nurse consists of "upper" and "lower" bodygroups, and they won't mix well with "casual" and "suit" outfits. Plus, they'd look out of place outside No Mercy. I'll probably conjure up a standalone Nurse Witch later.

@Jesus, no, only common_female01 and her bodygroups. This is intended as a pure simple complete model replacement. Adding a default model would force some complications (mind the heads) and may as well lead some "less sophisticated" players believe this addon does not work.

@Demo, I wanted to experiment with the Hunter, and maybe the Smoker. The other SI have somewhat different proportions and would require major model edits that would basically ruin the look, especially considering I'm still a n00b at that.
