Maybe not at the time this mod was made, but there is a "weight mult" option for each weapon in the FCS that does affect the inventory weight without affecting the blunt damage. I changed it to 0.6 in mine. It works. Keep in mind it won't change the strength requirement to effectively wield the weapon. The 40x blunt for strength still applies.
