found the issue; for whatever reason sfo is now overwriting morathi so the mod now needs to be placed above sfo in load order to allow it to work for anyone else that might run into this problem.

ic there is some mod conflict, it works when everything else is off. i wonder what happened, i havent downloaded anything else. ill have to figure this out 1 mod at a time, sorry for the trouble.

any idea why the mod might have stopped working? it worked fine for well over a year and for some reason it just stopped, though i dont know if it happened at the update as i wasnt playing til now so im not sure. morathi is just back to default, i tried multiple time to reset it both physically by redownloading the entire mod and by turning it off and on in the modloader, not sure what else to try. i havent tested to see if all your replacement mods are working but i can confirm that the beautiful death hag is still working at least. any idea?

Haha, and the previous commenter wanted a version that keeps the horned headdress. I used the asset editor tool by Ole to make the headdress and the snakes slimmer. The model is now a lot more faithful to the original and to the artwork.

Any chance for a version where she gets to keep the horned headdress?

I just wanted to get rid of the "side skirts", since Total War engine has no cloth physics whatsoever and such robes always look bad in animation.

This mod is amazing. Makes me want to play her for the first time. Is there a way to have her new model as the unit card, as she looks much better now then on the old unit card?

Definitely agree with Vegetabtk and Avi: it's hard to use the default unit card after I'd gotten used to your improved one. I've actually switched over to Morathi Reborn for the time being, because I just really don't care for the defaults that CA uses.

Hey Inquisitor, any chance you might consider reverting the unit card for Morathi back to her beautiful version? I see this was intentional, but the card you had originally crafted is far superior to vanilla in my opinion.
