The same principles apply to creating custom weapon skins.

To make things easier for you, here is my golden 9mm and LAR with the default knife, you can start with the knife first and add Boomstick_D.dds into it as well.

Would be nice if the game has a seperat textre file for every weapon in the game. I want to reskin the knive one day, as I realy like it, but with something difrent than just the default knive. But then I will loose your 9mm and the lar. And I have to learn how to insert another skin into the original, or your KF_Weapons_Trip_T.utx ... Any tipps or instructions on how you did it. I never done something like this and the Wiki is quit confusing. Did you had any sort of webside, or tutorial you could send me?

As for the export message, that only happens to me if I export the Combiners, Shaders or anything else but the texture. Still odd if that's not the case.

@Psyche Wow thanks. Had to import the dds file, the utx file only had the gold M14. But it works great now.
And the hud file works fine.

I did try the export function but it just kept saying I needed to "select a texture" the only time it worked was to export a texture I imported my self. I was assuming the SDK has some kind of copyright protection.

Though all I know about the KF1 SDK is about 2 hours of trial and error(Lots of Errors).

@007lord1, Yes I've imported the Gold M14 into the Pony Reskin Pack. I'm also happy to share my texture files. You can always export my .dds textures from SDK etither way.

It's okay for me because I normally update my files every now and then. It's just finding time off work to make more reskins but stuff like this is fine for me to do. Don't wait =)

As for the Gentlemen Revolver Hud, I've imported the Gold M14 and Mk23 icons with it.

@Psyche I guess by importing your skins into a version that has the others skins in it.
Or I guess I could with the texture file if you are OK with sharing that.
I understand if you rather not share the textures.

But if you make it yourself you'd have to make a special versions again if you plan on doing the Mac 10, MP7, and/or pipebomb (they are also in the file and don't have a gold version yet).
If you plan on making them I'm OK with waiting so you only have to make one special version.

Side note: Can't use the Hud file either its used by gentlemen revolver but thats not really a problem worth worrying about.

@007lord1, Hey buddy, I hope you're doing well. Yes that is correct, it is possible to have both client-side weapon packs. I can try to upload and send you the link via pm. That's one of the issues with client-side weapon packs compared to mutators.

As for the M14 and Mk23, which is correct. KillingFloor2HUD.utx for the M14 does not include the Mk23 icons. Whereas the Mk23 includes both M14. It's confusing but I did it as optional. Hindsight, I should have kept it all in one folder. I hope this helps.

@Psyche Been a while, But if I remember correct the "[Client-Side] Pony Reskin Weapon Pack" uses the same file that the gold EBR uses (KF_Weapons2_Trip_T.utx)
So I have to chose one or the other.
And the M14 and the Mk 23 seem to use diffrent files(except the hud file)

@Vel-San, Sorry for the very late reply, been occupied with work & life. I really appreciate your feedback, either good or bad. I know it’s been awhile since last update but rest assure I will add more and I will code them for server use. I will try to make the mods even better than before, thanks again!

@Monster, I’m not sure why it would be a problem now when it wasn’t from the get go. Have you tried using Ethernet instead of wireless?

@Vel-San, it's not whitelisted for servers, will only work as client-side. I can code a mutator but it will fail security check thus disabling perk progression for vanilla servers, unless you're running server perks, it will work.

That's the main reason why I went with client-side, so for now, others will need to download from here and install it manually.

@007lord1, sorry for the very late reply, M14 mod should work as normal, It uses the same file as the MK23 Gold. Not sure which skin would prevent it from working, a mutator would be ideal.

@Monster, these mods are working as of 14/08/18, you need to download from the direct link provided, extract all the .utx files and copy them to your textures folder. Instructions are included in the .zip file, also subscribing will not work due to file size limit.

Nice mod kinda sucks I can't use the M14EBR because the file is already used by another skin mod.

Hi Amon, I checked this morning and LAR Gold works and other guns too. Make sure to verify your files then copy all the .utx files into your Textures folder. Subscribing does not work.
