However, my short experience with this mod was disappointing. The zoom was choppy and bounced around so you did not end up at the original cursor position. And zooming out seemed to be by the screen center so zooming in and out moved you in the direction the cursor is from the center. In FPS mode, you can set to use shift to go in but it happily kicks you out without it, and fails to turn (q,e).
Didn't try follow mode or drag to move. I guess zooming in and out is done so much, I forgot to try them. There's already a follow in vanilla, and I've got a touchpad and rightclick dragging isn't easier for me than using wads.

I found Camera Positions Utility to be a suitable replacement. I can finally play again.
