Any change to make it compatible update it to v10, please? I'm changing to run nice on v10 but there are A LOT to do :P Almost have to update all POIs and i can't figure out one way to deal with others factions that aren't added =(

sounds like u did not follow the instructions

i dont think so,lol. i reinstalled it several times now, the starter stations do not show up in 10x multiplayer. i even had a buddy install on his system with the same results, map loads fine but you start on the planet ,--ground, and the stations do not even exist on the map. so if you have it installed plz share.

u installed it wrong i have no problems with it at all on my rack server. oh and i also want to thank Sephrajin for this great world he put SO much time to make

There are no planet resets.
Only Regeneration of POIs (Buildings, asteroids), for These you Need to Change the Attributes of the POI itself.
In which case i'd recomend to use Notepad++ for mass-changing of all files with These values in them.

Main changes from 9 to 10 were.. new blocks.. and attacking Zirax, neither of which requires an active update of me… so yeah… :p


Just be sure to start a new game (do not continue any existing save game) and you should (I'm no future-seer ; so no guarantee) be fine.

@Sephrajin thank you for this Scenario! Sorry for asking n00b questions, im new at empyrion's server, so i didn't knew much. Now i figure out how to change somethings, but i still have some questions. Anyway i understand you done a nice job here and don't want more work. SO THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Just the last question: could i change all that i want (customize) and use ur scenario at my MP server? Sure i still give you all credits, i just want change some details to be the needs for my server. Like as: turns all zones pvp, change some pois and spawners, change traders ...

Thank you for keeping this scenario public.

I decided to 'let it be', means: I'm getting too old for this.
Also it means, that the scenario remains public, as I was on the edge to make it private.

This said, it just has recieved it's final update:
Player starts outside of the 'box', since via WS - it's kinda SP, not MP....

They're all PvE, only 1 Orbit is PvP :: and the very seperate 3 orbit pvp zone.

@Sephrajin , Please help me tho change the text and remove the password of the door, please. This scenario is incredible :D

And just one question, are only starter planets PVE or all others?
I want to make all PVP planets and spawn in capsule not at admin trading zones :D

@STINGRAY i can guide you to make a fresh install. But i didn't knew how to change the text neighter the password at the spawn area =( But the server will run fine with all those planets and this incredible scenario :D

as some one who just picked up this game i would say you can do it sensai creator but i understand when things get to much. hope to see you back one day to continue the server :3

This scenario is awesome. As a solo player, having all of the wonderful things to explore is really cool. I will probably keep playing it until it falls apart due to game updates etc.

I'm sorry people have harassed you so badly.

@Blood, it's not the 'ty's, I've gotten several of those.

But it's the common human nature to expect more and more all the way, and taking what is as granted.
And I couldnt keep up the "24/7" online support with that repeated frustration of game changes, which turned bugfixes into bugs, and removed set values from remaining what they were...

And then beeing asked, "why are you not online"?
Then i had to re-ask several times what they fixed online, without getting a precice answer, but beeing accused of not fixed the things I fixed, which was the cause for my frustration...

Snaped on that, and removed I am....

And while I had said that some items became earrlier versions of them self (ex: 0.5 -> 0.2), I was accused of beeing lazy, and simply should have noted down what was reported (which I did), but since older versions got active in the scenario, it obviously IS my fault...

Very sad to see that last post, as I just downloaded this one. Regardless, thank you very much for all the work you have done, and **** anyone who says otherwise.

@Sephrajin Iwhile it saddens me I completely understand! The entitlement of people who do nothing except consume the hard work of others astounds me.

When someone else is kind enough to make a game with very little content better for your enjoyment, the best thing to do is 1) tell them how much you appreciate their work 2) ask for help with something if you need it instead of criticizing why they did not do A, B, or C that you wanted, and 3) If you cannot do 1 and 2 then show them you are better by making your own scenario.

As for you being a content creator Sephrajin, you should see if it is against Valve's rules to put up a donation link. That way you can see how much people really do appreciate your work by letting folks like me buy you lunch.

If your mind is made up though, thanks for the amazing scenario. My guild and I will play on it till it is no longer able to be played upon.

@Sephrajin Our dedicated server is made up of only 6 people that work together as a team. Is there any way for me to edit a file that will allow us to spawn and land CVs on Dra and Doules?

We are seeking a perfect HQ planet and really like the both of them, so wanted to see if there is a way for me to edit a line in the .YAML

The generator makes exactly the same script, has the same files.
It's just not clear yet how to properly prepare it ... I didn’t learn how to do it, although I did a cool planet creation.
I do not know yet where to talk about the generator.

My point was, that you cannot use a 'final scenario' and combine it with the generator.
Creating a scenario with the generator is something very different, and should be discussed in the offical forums, not here.

If that is not what you asked, then I have misunderstood you 2 times.

Sorry I did not understand what thought you want to say! But on my server, I want to see unique planets with incredible terrain, close to real life or earth, with interesting mountains and zones on the planet like forests in instinctively right places, something similar to theremin in Feng shui.
I go to see the right monsters and animals in the right and natural locations on the location. Sorry, but without a generator here is not how! This is a huge handicraft. "Free now, Sisyphean work" which is paid for only by the generator, saving a lot of time and effort.
Sorry I turned to you! But seeing a huge number of planets in your scenario - I thought that now you have achieved Zen in creating planets and for you it is easy.

WTF why use Generator?
This is a complete Thing, only as a Server owner/admin you *should* edit the 'Server welcome center' in creative, before moving the saved bp back to the Scenarios prefab Folder.

And this is only to change the langauge of the LCD's within the startpoint.
If this is 'too much' (difficult) you should not be a Server owner/admin,. because updating a Server without wiping is slightly more challenging than this simple task.

And no, i'm not here to teach each and every Server owner how to handle a Server, or about other Basic and obvious stuff.

I'm more than busy enough as it is, i dont need adddtional jobs/tasks..

I tried to work with the generator of the planets ... he gives me a file of the finished planet and this file does not work in my scripts. I don’t understand how it works now (((maybe I'll try later.

Zota, when I started creating this scenario in alpha 7, all these planets were handmade.
Then Alpha 8 came, and I could not combine the 2 methods, and had to start all over.

Now beeing where we are today, I can start the fine tuning and start adding 'end content'.
Speaking of this, BIG THANKS @Jenago, he's sent me his (their) old scenario to use all the planets of it.

Because it's one thing place stuff on it, its one thing to to balance them, and a VERY different thing to make them look good/cool/special.
