update needed city set is too small

if its updated to 3.12 it should still work

idk i dont think theyve done anything to the species files lately

Depends does the DLC / update breaks the mod? if not the mod will work just fine, it wont fall apart if a text file doesn't say the latest version. I got to many mods to be updating just a text file, I will only update if something is broken that keeps this from being playable.

update the mod to the latest version 3.14.1 please.

Yeah, have that issue myself, all the dlc categories no longer show up even if you place a mod thing in them which you'd "own"

Used this a while back, and worked just fine. Started a game with the little guys. Then I stopped playing it for a while.

I decided to use the slimes again yesterday, and guess what? I couldn't use the nation I had set up because they didn't exist as a portrait. Since the description claims the Slimes are labelled under "Plantoids", does this mean I need the plant DLC to play as the slimes?

All the species mods should be working for 3.12 version now.

@anandal they are still plantoids in 3.12, (albiet back in their own category) although you posted that before it got updated for some reason.

Our slimes are no longer plants!

Sure they both pretty big mods for species though not sure if the 1.5 gb limit is still in effect.

I was also working on a species mod called "Species of Stellaris" and I would love to implement your Animated Slime and Animated Grey Goo mods into it. Possible but a hassle, the way paradox has it set up is like a list that species get added to a tab via a file. Others will make files that override that file. If ya want to make a list and add them yourself to it go ahead.

So no way to only have the slime portraits for plantoid and machine? I ask because those are what really stand out here to me as something I'd always like to have. The Slime city set, while neat, is just blobs added to the plantoid city set. The ship sets aren't custom at all from what I can tell, and just route to other ship sets. However, the slime portraits actually fit in with Stellaris vanilla portraits quite well.

I'm not personally sure I'd want a collection of all of your portraits (no offense), over just being able to add only slimes. I just really love these lil blobs.

slimes use a different ship set, I don't make ship sets.

I absolutely love this. I do wonder if you would be willing to make these actually classed as a plantoid portrait? Similarly with your grey goo ones being made robot portraits.

Right now, because they aren't planted, you cannot choose plantain traits. With the grey goo robotic slices, you cannot robo-mod into their portraits because they aren't part of the machine set.

Also, but confused by the slime ship sets. They seem like they are just using other ship sets?

Strange.... It works for newly created empires... not for the old saved empires. No New mods have been added since this one. Tried the unsubscribe and then subscribe again after ensuring that it was removed and still the same thing.

Mod should be working fine I check it out in my end, if you still have issues unsubscribe, make sure you don't have the physical files anymore in your computer C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\1403253526 then resubscribe and check that same file path to see that you have 132 MB, 27 files, and 19 folders for it.

Had a great time with this mod. Sadly today it's now not letting me start a new game with them, because it it not registering the Slimes as organic, thus not allowing the traits that i had selected to work from those saved empires. I'll have to keep checking back to see if it was resolved.

This mod has done so much for my enjoyment of Stellaris. Rogue Servitors? Now they look after their dead masters' pet slimes. Want to be a warmonger but can't decide on a species? Slimes instantly make it both cute and hilarious. Never played a slaver before, but the idea of space pirate slimes won me over. Seriously, why is this not insanely popular? The quality amazing!

With 3.1 installed I'm not able to use the Slime city visuals as it says I need Plantoid dlc, which I own, likely a conflict with the new code.

Yes it is, if you want it to say that in the menu you have to redownload it, because the mod menu is poop at updating mod versions compare to the old one.
