You bugged my head lol It's a lot of technical information. Well but what I can say is that Wilco is the name used in the M1928 variant from Call of Duty WWII, but don't ask me why xD

Wait a second. . . . I'll admit ive never heard of this variant of the Thompson but one thing is for sure, that mag on this model looks to small for 30-06 (I'm thinking you meant 30. carbine). Secondly if this was a normal Thompson 45. acp that was upped to 30-06 this gun would have BAD problems, what I mean is you cant just simply take a 45. acp chambered Blishlock Blowback design and rechamber it to 30-06 without adding significant mass to the bolt making the gun really heavy. And if you could get it to fire the case would eject so fast that it basically becomes a bullet itself and increasing the risk of damaging the bolt face.

Needless to say this would be a very unreliable system hardly better than the Stg 44 which fired the 8mm kurz which is allot less powerful than the 30-06 and the Stg 44 uses a tilting bolt gas piston design which is better for higher pressure rounds. So in all the Stg 44 is a better design than the 1928 wilco. Again I don't know any details about this so called Wilco variant everything I just said was based on my current knowledge of the regular 1928 Thompson assuming the wilco was a the same thing chambered in 30-06. That being said this is a very cool gun model for the popular multiplayer zombie shooter game known as L4D2 made by Valve taking place of the M16a2 assualt rifle

ah yes, 30-06 with a magazine that can only fit 45. acp, definately makes sense
not to mention if it was in 30-06 that'd make it a light machine gun, not an a assault rifle as assault rifles use an intermediate cartridge between rifle and pistol

Also when you do make the M2, can you get it from rising storm 2: Vietnam? Make sure it has bayonet please! It’s a lovely gun that I use to clear objectives

Hey bud, quick idea with the Thompson replacing the M16 in the game: The M16 has a 50 round mag, so a really fun addition to the mod would be the drum mag, as it held 50 rounds. If its not compatible with the mod itself, I understand, but I figured it might be a good bit of accuracy B)

Fucking love this mod. However I do want to say I feel like the uzi's fire rate more closely matches the thompson and the m16's fire rate more closely matches the waffe 28 irl. Splendid work nonetheless.

I'm pretty certain the cartridge the "Wilco Thompson" was meant to fire was .30 carbine, not .30-06 (a rather heavy, hot, and hard recoil cartridge). .30 Carbine is kind of a between from a pistol caliber and something like 7.92x33mm Kurz, the cartridge used in the MkB-42, MP-44/StG-44. Just figured I'd point out.

Also, I'm with Tactical Otaku Dumbass, M2 Carbine for the M16.
