i recently moved my data from a hard drive to an SSD but when im using the manager it cant find my profiles? It has my all my mods but no profiles. And none of my campaign saves are showing up in the game either. Any ideas?

After using Mod Manager for Skyrim for so many years, I'm just used to a manager loading right away. For people complaining about slow load times, no, you're not crazy- this mod manager takes forever to recognize the mods in your games. Just relax and let it work for a bit, the mods for your game will eventually show up :)

All the mods I've made myself conflict with each other with the following packed filepath : "dependencies_manager_v2.rpfm_reserved"

Meaning cannot be replaced one line by this mod and another line by that mod. Startpos only allows one edit command to load.

Simple explanation. Mods load overriding internal game files with the replacement sections in the loaded mods. Once a file loads, no following copy of that data can load. In this mod manager, there is conflict detection to tell you which parts are in conflict where part of what you want is already loaded for something else.

If a mod alters a game file and no other mod alters it at all, that particular mod needs no special place to load.

Script files need no order to load, but any broken script disallows any script attempting to load after to load.

"Ridiculously slow" and "Not Responding" is discussed on at least 200 of the 226 pages of these comments. You dont hit start on your computer and it instantly be on ready to use. In fact, you do not launch a game and it is instantly ready to use. This launcher does tasks you cannot imagine behind the scenes. There are faster loading launchers, but not better to use and work with OTHER than it having to deal with updating mods each time they are bulk updated or scanned in for the first time. Easier is no mods installed, install the launcher, add the mods in small sets, launch to scan them in, shut down, repeat.

Downloaded and startup is ridiculously slow and if I press any keys it freezes and says the program is not responding. Any fix?

Can the mod manager also re-download the mdos which were enabled the last time the game was launched? I accidently unsubscribed from some mods through a missclick, and I don't think I can find them all again.

In the top line menu, find the link association tool for finding and choosing RPFM.

Glad this is here but is seems out of date. I'm trying to open files in Rusted PFM but when i do, it's looking for an exe that doesn't exist in RPFM. Right now, I'm doing it the old fashioned way by trawling through the steam workshop folder but if you could advise me on how to get this to link that'd be great.

idk about this people having issues. use this for warhammer 2 starting today and WOW.. game loads faster than ever before.. how'd it do that? Also fixed the skill tree lag issue. Wish i knew how it fixed that.. im guessing the CA mod manager is just trash.

Didnt subscribe to this, just downloaded the MM from the description and used it there.

Man, this has gotten bad enough, I'm tempted to see if I can fork prop joe's mod manager for WH2. It is very bad at this point.

Doesn't work or start.

It runs out of memory easily when there are MANY subscribed mods across TW games. Just keep launching. Know it is frustrating, but once it is finished and running, other than it will always be slow to launch reading so many mod files in different location, it then works perfectly

why does it crash?? first time using it and it loads up then crashes???

Also you can't search the database, there's no way to change the size of the field of view, without those options this mod manager is effectively unusable.

Prop Joe's Mod Manager can be updated just by copying and pasting the files into the folder, that's kind of the set standard of expectation now.

Okay, after looking up what Space War is and it's purpose on Steam, I now understand. Just restart Steam if you see Space War in your library.

Even though the program is working with older titles, it is running very very slow.

This program started working when i installed Rome 2 and I tried to open it and it worked.

First I have to fight with this thing, deleting settings hiding in the AppData folder and use admin mode. Then it takes a century to load. And THEN the game freezes.

How'd this thing become worse than CA's shit laucher?

This new update takes a long time to load. Added a new game called "Spacewar" to my steam game list that I can't uninstall? What's that about? Had to update my .Net to 7.0 just to get it to stop spamming me about resetting the config every time I load the application. Every time I start the new 1.9 update, it says it's downloading outdated mods. But it does this, every-single-time. What is it downloading? No time has passed. No updates have been released. This process takes 1-2 minutes just to load the application every single time.

This manager is barely any better than C.A's one. One little mistake and you will have to re-order the mods ALL OVER again.

OK, so I just want to throw this out there for whoever might also be struggling here with the new force steam download setting refusing to be disabled no matter how we go about refreshing the installation. I even removed the roaming userdata manually very cache etc. Nothing worked. What did work for me was this. I manually edited that same user/appdata/roaming/Kaedrin's MM "mod_manager_settings_v3" file to say false on the line concerning this. Saved it and was in business. My best guess is this is a permission issue since I operate in as an admin user inside windows but do NOT launch KMM in admin.

Yea it doesnt work like the game launches theres no problem there but the mods just dont load i disable them in the game launcher go to Kaedrin's Mod Manager pick the mods load the game mods just dont load i tried deleting them and instaling them back multiple times didnt work so i dont know what to do.

Just got a new computer, installed WH2 and attempted to use this, it spits back an error saying I need an app from the windows store? do you have any idea what I could be missing? like a notepad+ app or??

@Houshmandzadeh no one I have spoken with has any idea where Chance is and why this was not upgraded as teased to work for both Troy and WH3. The only thing I do know is the Joe fanboys remind me of Darthmod fanboys. They are going nuts over a launcher because of a name rather than anything quality. It only adds a dark mod and removes whether a mod is up to date information and allows for saving a set of loadouts which disappear more times than actually stay usable. Very much like the old crap cheat DM mods, all hype, no help.
