I can't find the SDK either.

Hello, Philip. I've been wanting try mapping for CS:GO recently, but I can't find the Source SDK anywhere. I followed your tutorials and tried searching for it in my "Tools" library, but I couldn't find it there. Then I searched for Hammer in CS:GO's files, and I couldn't find it there either. I was wondering if you could help.

3kliks, is there a trigger to take away a certain amount of money from the player when activated?

The same way as you upload them in the first place. Open CS:GO, type workshop_publish in the console or something like that, click on MAP on the side, choose the map you wish to update and the rest should be straight-forward.

Guys , does anyone know how to update maps? I made a map and I've updated a few areas but IDK how to update it without re-uplaoding the same map with a small difference

Great vids man, I saw your CSS stories and the making of de_sparity as well as some of your pc vids. Your stories remind me of beack in 2006 and 7 when it was my early days of the internet. I was little so I mostly played club penguin and roblox which are both not the most substance filled games but I have very fond memories. Can you try to make a hostage map? I'd love to see one. You make such great maps, and I feel Hostage is needed. Don't take this as hate for you're Defuse maps, I will be fine if you didn't, but if you did I would be very happy. Thanks. :)

My other question may seem a bit stupid, but I'm new to map-making and I can't find an answer to this anywhere. Is this a new feature that you have to put in your payment information and a bunch of tax information to post maps on the workshop, or has it always been like that. It says that if you want your items sold in the game, you need to put in the payment information, but I don't care about my items being sold. I just want my friends to be able to subscribe to the map. Is there an option where I can say that I don't want my items sold, or should I just start posting on Gambanana? (I'm not 18 and don't know how to fill out any of these tax forms). I love your videos and you truly do ispire me. I would truly appreciate it if you could take a minute to answer my questions.

Hi 3kliksphilip, I love your videos, they taught me all I know about CS:GO mapmaking. I have a few questions, I hope you could get a chance to answer them, first off, I'm working on my own map currently that takes place in a train station and it always feels like I can't get it to feel right. I can't seem to balance T or CT side, I'll put in some cover and the whole map gets unbalanced, then I try to compensate for it by creating a weakness and the map is thrown in favor of the other side. What's your thinking when you're trying to balance? How do you go about testing and balancing a troubling position in the map?

If they stayed there for the game then surely they'd lose the match?

i really liked the amount of detail you put in it but mid is a bit op so can you make so changes in the mid house cuz my frends just stayed there for the game

Just played sparity on reddit community night, it was so much fun and the map was easy to remember. It did feel a little claustrophobic but in a good way to keep your mind more to the game since action happens early on. From what I experienced the map was CT sided when we first started and T sided after everyone hade learned the layout. Thanks for creating us more ways to entertain ourselves! Also, you should join a reddit cn someday ;)

woah you actually responded, haha... I guess I was kinda talking to myself.. didnt think you would actually read that.
I can understand why you have the urge to share all your "lost" (if you want to call it that) times though. like creating those maps for cs:s, only for them now to never see the light of day. it was when I saw de_sparity that I was pleasantly surprised, I hope that it gets into the game and I wish you good luck in future endeavours matey

Your videos are very deep and thoughtful (not in a bad way) somehow whenever it comes to flashback time like in you're Season 2 Finale of Going low in CS:GO it always touches me in weird ways o_O
you have a lot of history with csgo, a bit like me with TF2. it's just the thing that seperates us is you have a channel to publicize your thoughts, whilst myself I'm an unlikable person.
no, you're not a troll for making your Going Low series. you're someone with stories to tell and games to share.
