yeah your right russia was not suposed to be at war with germany but ther germans attacked them and us the japanese attacked america and germans and so did the germans we wanted america to help but they said no so we sent a sub to destroy 1 of their ships so we said the germans did it and they attacked germany russia and us and america cornered hitler and he shot himself and so ended ww2

This wasn't jsut America's war, a lot of other people were involved too.

Britain had been at war wih Germany since '38, but true, the actual full blown second world war did not begin "oficially" until 12-7-41.
