I really like this design/layout/look. When I picture the types of ships we could build IRL, this is pretty much the kind of thing I keep coming up with in my own mind. Basically a super-modular ability on a rugged main platform.

I really like this ship. It has a few guns. It turns well, and has good speed. It's easy to modify for a first ship by changing out the silicon engines and dropping the ACTRs. The design is attractive. Certainly shows that someone put some effort into it.

A quick note regarding BNE's comment on cargo load; even if you load all 196 cargo slots with standard/advanced ammo (1.5 times heavier than heaviest mined material, uranium) you're below 240k in total mass. With the heaviest cargo in the game, Tetra Xanthium, you'd still need 120 crates before being unable to warp, a very unlikely scenario.

One of the best designs I've tried so far. Very utilitarian. I could not believe, though, how the hydrogen generators had been stacked inside one another. I didn't know that was possible.

looks like something that humanitys first starship would look like

nice ship +1 but the clipped engines

as long as the ship + cargo doesnt exceed 283.500 mass it warps forever.. but the pilot should keep an eye on that ;).
