So what ones have retractable turrets? I'm looking for a hover for blitzing heavy hitting POI's The POI's I am looking at often have 8-10 turrets per side

nice machine tough bugger and those harvesters act as extra armor on your first attack so they serve two purposes...lol

TESTED AND CONFIRMED. I spawned a fresh Workshop Copy and it spawns with Engines and RCS toggles in the off position. Turn those on as well as the Thrusters and you should be good. I set those indivisual toggles to conserve fuel if you end up using it as an offsite base of sorts. has allot of standby time :)

Ensure the RCS toggle is turned on as well as the Engines. Also go to the actual RCS groups and Engines groups to make sure they are manually on. This has happened to me as well since 8.6

Does this work in 8.5? I just spawned it in and it won't lift off of ground or turn. I tried reloading game but no change. I know weight was introduced, is this now broken because it weighs to much for the RCS and thrusters?

but the beam went lear through and was desolving my floor, needless to say this monster is gone, never saw something happen like that red tin junkthat appeared on one side, wasnt part of the original esign at all..spooky..lol

wow what a mess. loved this just got it today and finished the first chapter of the story with it. took out all three turrets at the radar station nicely, then I finished the job and came back. Now on the way home passed a base that fired on me every time, so turned and opened up on it , ran in until i was alongside and took out all its guns. but took some ehavy damage doing it. looted 2 floors and decided to go repair the hv and coem back later. got it into my base workshop[ area and got out...it didnt even look like the samne thing, the left vorner (from inside) had some odd red metal flaring on it, the rest of the thing didnt. I got my reapir beam to chek it, it says iots a container, like 25 hit points. I'm flabergasted so decide to take it off down to the main fram...not happening..tried several times on different settings, its liek it not really there, and the original opictures looked nothing like this. then I discovered that while nothing happened to this red tin

Thanks drylokol! This is what I'm living out of in my solo game with no base, and it's been allot of fun. Especially with the drill turret on the side, and i replaced the back turret with 1 multi turret for cleanup. I also removed the passenger seats and added more cargo and harvest boxes.

Out of the box, as is, I can highly recommend this vehicle as a kicking Advanced Scout, Ground Troup Thinner, and "Hey, if I can harvest along the way, cool" vic. Especially for v8 EGS. Red turret rate of fire will cause it issues, but you can soften 4 green turret bases easily, if you're careful. Also, this thing sips fuel so the range is excellent. Pretty sure that with multiple crewmates running the turrets, this would exceed expectations. However, I only tested it multiple times solo. Well done, X!

heya XCaliber, loves this tank buddy, but is there a trick to attaching the drill turret to the side marked, i have already removed the grills but still says there is no space to add it?

@drylokol I can confirm the gun blade is more than a tank, it should be renamed Jugernaught Blade because nothing stops it!

OMG. This was just too much fun! I spawned it in, loaded it up, and blitzkreiged one of those mult-fortress, multi-building, drown and ground troup infested POI clusters. I took it and used everything weapon this thing had. For what it is, it performed really well. But...V8 POI clusters like this need to be 70% offensive and 30% defensive with one goal: survive the assault on the POI. The vehicle turret AI is stupid, so I set the heavy weapons to turrets, and the light weapons to Predator/Prey. The harvesters -- lol. I used them like bayonets in hand-to-hand and was thankful for 'em! Normal, relaxed, I'll weaken the cluster with my attack SV kinda play, this is a decent vehicle. I'd love to see you do a 100% assault vehicle optimized to that 70/30% mission mix. No fridges, no frills: personal inventroy for healing/repair if necessary, ammo/fuel take the area in 15-20 min or less or walk home. :-D Again, this was way too much fun to run and rocks for what it is!

Thanks again zoriah. After the big updates on HV functionality, I felt I had to make a solid mid game progression tank that could serve as a mobile base. I'm excited to play 8.0 now!
