Nevermind - it works. I was just getting confused because the map preview uses temperate biome resources.

Doesn't seem to work - when I select Taiga in the new game screen, I just get the standard plains map instead.

Love this map but cant play it anymore due to the seasons not working :( i know its not a big deal for some but having that moment of panic not having food saved up for the winter and seeing the trees change color and fall off is just a must now.

if i have both installed will it still possible to use one of them or would it cause trauble since you sayed that you used the biom from another mod for this setting

So the addition of seasons with the latest update of Stonehearth - r874 - seems to have broken weather. Whenever I start up a game with this biome I get two error messages and no forecast is shown, and the weather is always sunny. It's not a game-breaking problem, but weather adds a very nice touch to the game.

I'm really interested in trying out new biomes, this one looks nice. But I am curious, is it going to be super hard early on, having my hearthlings freeze until i can get a weaver to make the warm clothes? or is temperature not a factor?

Any chance you could add Arctic Flora and Fauna to your taiga ? maybe replacing the rabbit statue with the deers ?

Hi, so far loving the mod! quick question though, is there any way to cut down ancient trees? im using ascendancy hearthlings and whenever i tell them to cut an ancient tree they wont even though the little axe is above it.

HI, Love the snow. A small detail, could you make it so that the snow melts where the light from the fire reaches? same with lanterns and braziers? it'd be a detail that you could also use to let the hearhlings have a moment of warmth around it as well...

A little update to fix re-plantable trees and also to add back in the cloudhead update from Norsehearth. This adds scattered clouds around the mountains.
A new world generation will be needed to see the fix
