The gel suddenly stopped bouncing me when I tried to cross a gap while carrying a ball so I died. Turns out there are no checkpoints.

the second area was hard because there was no real way to solve it without cheats other than that this was a good map and did you use hammer to make this or a different editor

Rather easy puzzles, but made more interesting by the retro theme. Thumbs up! To catch cubes in mid-air without losing momentum (and not making it to the other side of the goo) you have to be careful not to meet the cube head-on. Aim to pass over or to one side of the cube and snatch it from the air. It's not a bug in the map, that's just how it works.

I'm looking for players (but not beginner level) for my new chamber "The Oubliette":
http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=140319013 . It has an escape theme, and although started in PuzzleMaker it has Hammer improvements in the dungeon.

The map is nice but it's quite easy and I found some unintentions and bugs. The cube in the glass box just jumped out after a few seconds, and I got stuck in the part with the bouncy cube and ball were the ball and the cube blocked me from getting to the other side, and jumping across a unit isn't easy especially with the weird gel plate, but using noclip is not a good soloution because it's not my map.

Everything worked fine for me. It was pretty basic puzzles. You should expand on it.

how can i make a test chamber with this design?

Hmm, I've had trouble with blue-painted boxes losing their paint before, but now I think I know what does it. It's the style-mod glass replacements. Touch a blue box to a wall? Fine. Touch glass? Loses the paint, every time.

I also had trouble with the "faith plates", but as you say it's possible just to jump back across from the middle.

Nice map....It's pretty simple, didn't have any trouble with "goo puddles".

Good design. I have been died many times when trying to catch the ball and the cube.

Nice use of the buttons - I had fun. [ Same verdict, it was good - I wanted it to be longer. ]

Wow, sweet!

Fairly simple chamber. My only complaint is that it's a bit short. Just as I was really getting into this chamber it was over. Oh well, all good things come to an end. Nice job, thumbs up.

@Suppercut Hold up, maybe if you were a little smarter you would solve it. What I'm saying is that yes, the blue gel splat in the third chamber is supposed to be an Aerial Faith Plate. This was made by Style Mod, and I cannot change them to an actual Faith Plate, because its an underground puzzle. You said you ended up in the Goo many times. It is NOT BROKEN. If it is broken, how do you think other people solved it? Did you like jump on the faith plate ("gel splat")? Or you flinged on the faith plate when the cube is at a high height and it sort of hitted you so you bounced on the middle faith plate instead. If thats the case, you can simply jump onto the other side because its only 128 units apart...

miles away from the f***ing "paint fizzler", a gimmicky idea in the first place. Then I have to sit through a platforming puzzle that was easier than dirt but still takes way longer than its difficulty suggests because you have to d**k around finding the exact right place for your portal to hit the laser receivers, and THEN I just gave up. You do realize, Rector, that you can NOT save while you're playing a community map, right? Right? Because the only checkpoint there is is at such a pointless time!

All in all, I could easily compare this to any other half-@ssed puzzle here.

This was so frustrating that I am NOT going for another run at this, I just stopped at the first gel level because of how many times I died because of the weird, glitchy blue gel that made no sense. Were you, like, trying to remake aerial faith plates as a gel? Because it was F***ING BROKEN! I ended up in more deadly goo than Davey Crockett in a swamp made of cyanide! Not to mention I finally beat the piece of crap, get all the orange goo all over the place, all over the ramp, and guess what? I don't make it, and guess what else? I HAVE TO START THE MAP ALL OVER AGAIN! I have to sit throught the glitchy "get the cube to bounce around with the blue gel" which takes three minutes tops because it keeps un-gelling itself even though it's

stunning visuals (especially to lighting) - classy layout and puzzles 10/10 - great chamber

Nice simple fun map.

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but when I try to use the speed gel, the angle of the platform just sends me right into the wall. I have tried at least probably like 25 times.

no challenge. felt like chores

Nice puzzle! ...You could make 1 or 2 savepoints, if something should go wrong ;-)
