Not sure if you could do this, but if you could made a single-block lazer that would add a lot of ways for anyone to customize the lazer into how they want it. Like just having the block that fires and the rest the person that is using that block can build

@Morphal YT This is what he is saying you need to be using the test branch of the game version 0.3.0 all spud gun and Lua script mods depend on it and canot work in the official version of the game

HOW TO USE TEST BRANCH AND MAKE MOD WORK
Make sure you close the game before doing this.
Goto steam game library, look at games list on left side and find Scrap Mechanic
Right click on scrap mechanic, then select "properties" from the drop down box.
In the new window that appears click on the "Betas" tab
click on the input box to make drop down open and select "test"
Wait for game to update, then start game and the spudgun will appear in your tools and this mod will work.

to destroy every block type like in vid there is a mod that makes a copy of each block that is destructable

to enable the test 0.3.0 version of the game you must exit scrap mechanic open the steam application click on library to see your games right click on scrap mechanic click on properties open the betas tab and select Test from the drop down menue labled select the beta you wish to use

Maybe a spudgun claymoor block? when triggered fires a spread of spuds over a 90 - 100 degree angle area? And maybe other mine blocks that can be made camo to be hidden or a floating mine for water maps like a contackt or proximity mine that floats or just stays in place where droped so you can deploy it with the lift raise it to a hight and remove lift to leave the mine floating that would be fun on a map modified with the water blcok and people could use hovering ship builds give me some time im sure i can come up with some more ideas
