I liked Ibrams idea so i made the patch and uploaded it if anyone is interested, doesn't change the storage limit but does get rid of the stone mines. thanks for the epic mod Senor Neutron

@Ibram Gaunt ... years later I read this but hey it's something, feel free to update your modified Version of the mod, that goes for everybody feel free to do with it how you please

ok, I have a few things I added to your mod to improve it. 1. You don't need the stone mine pile to make the thing run. Open each mine in FCS, and then right click "ore mine" under the parts sublisting, then select "remove from list". This will make the thing smaller and more compact.
2. I manually set the storage limit of all the mines you created to 100. That should help out a lot.

Hey @Hammer man that feels like ages ago. Thank you very much for taking the time back then and showing me the ropes, and thank you for the kind words. Im happy the mod was of help to people.I am not moding actively at the moment, maybe when Kenshi 2 comes out on a far away day.

I remember the day I showed you how the FCS works, and wow you made a very useful mod! The iron plates hybrid mine especially helps, amazing mod Timmy! Hope you're still modding, even if it's not this game :)

that should be impossible, since they are basically the same like the vanilla automated mines which are coded as an outdoor item, but you can always just try, I haven't tested out everything

Hey WCKID, I have not updated it for a long time and I am not sure if it still works, just try and tell me, but it should still be fine. I think you should be able to place them anywhere you want I have not enabled the approximity to the resources.
