I don't have the resources to build that one yet. However, I installed a deconstructor and have been slowly gathering mats. I removedthe steel blocks on the nose and added a pulse cannon and added a few hardedned steel blocks around it. I want to start exploring a new planet and be able to defend against POIs. I hope I don't slow the ship down too much. It now has your four gatlings, two rockety launchers and a pulse cannon (in the nose).

It has the rocket launcher included, you only have to remove some blocks to put them in! ;-)

Really like this ship. Very good for a new player like me. Where is a the best place to mount a detector?

Hi, I'm just learning this game and after getting killed on my first warp visit to a nearby planet I thought this ship might help my odds of survival. It looks great. Question for you, how easy is it to add two rocket launchers to this ship, or do I need to take out two gatling guns and replace them with rockets. I am pretty inexperienced at building and modifying ships for this game, so I'm relying on blue prints.

@EzRyder, thank you and yes you are right, "Follow" is the correct 2nd option to choose. I will add that to the description.
And - sadly as I think - yes, the 8.0 Experimental has changed the Color mask of some devices, f.e. the cockpits, so no more 2-colored cockpits in 8, sorry.

i love all your designes and this one is no different, great work and ty
a couple questions tho, first in the upgrade to x3 you state to set the thrusters to "ThrustersRCS", no problem there, but can i assume the default setting of "Follow" for the second choice on that same setting page is correct? sorry im not too sure what these settings do so want to be sure
and second, how do you get the 2-tone cockpit :P i cant seem to duplicate that - im in experimental so that may be it but idk
