Hey Caliber, spawned this in on my creative, interesting design, I like it, cant wait to try it in game.

With 8 yes I have found you can short warp allot further then before. With that and the size of planets now, it has opened up allot more gameplay options for SV's

I have not played 8 yet, but are there more places for an SV to go? Unless you stash this in a hanger of a CV, all you can do is explore 1 solar system. Sure its cool, and I got it, just saying, is it really practical?

Thanks for the quick answer, XCaliber. I'm a bit of a neanderthall and tend to just smash the fire button until things die. Switching between weapons seems like it would just confuse me. That and I'm cheap because my rides tend to get shot out from under me.

@Nabonassar It's situational. The different weapon types become more or less functional based on distance and rate of fire. I may use Gatlings on ground troops, rockets on Turrets, and Plasma or Rail Guns on precision targets. Given that there are many different scenarios that can arise when piloting an SV, it's good to have all options in your arsenal :)

I don't see the point in having max of each type of wealon if you can only use one group at a time. I'm fairly new to the game so is there something I'm missing? Seems like a wate of resources.
