Has given me a warning about a corrupt mod. Sad. =(
Typhon Plume 10. dec. 2023 kl. 16:26
Age of Calamitous changes the game drastically from more primitive survival based on the Conan books, to one of high fantasy which is contradictory to the world Conan takes place in. Which is more low fantasy. That's why a lot of folks dislike Age of Calamitous.
krunjar 29. jan. 2022 kl. 14:36
Why the hate for Age of Calamitous?
Viking 30. sep. 2020 kl. 13:41
Please completely ignore Age of Calamitous support so that mod dies already.
Max 4. maj 2020 kl. 18:48
Tested still working as of today for base game seeds, single player.
Dragon of Desire 8. jan. 2020 kl. 22:29
Please add Calamitous support!
Spartan 2. juli 2019 kl. 19:40
Working with Calamitous seeds ?
MajorKurk 4. sep. 2018 kl. 5:23
Okey, thanks you man for this mods, and good game ! :)
Sephumbra  [ophavsmand] 4. sep. 2018 kl. 3:35
@MajorKurk
That may very well be the case. I will not be updating this mod any further since I lost interest in Conan Exiles a while ago, sorry. Its a really simple mod, so I guess someone will make an up-to-date version.
MajorKurk 4. sep. 2018 kl. 0:44
After the last update, your mod seem don't work... :/
Sephumbra  [ophavsmand] 19. juni 2018 kl. 12:36
@Bimdurian Thanks! My other mod has this handled a bit better.
Bimdur 19. juni 2018 kl. 11:01
Great mod! Tad unbalanced but it's something I can live with.
Sephumbra  [ophavsmand] 19. juni 2018 kl. 10:15
@Ajatar, here you go:

I hope everything is fixed for now. If not just let me know and I will take a look at it.
Sephumbra  [ophavsmand] 19. juni 2018 kl. 7:55
Just came home, doing it right now. Posting it here when I'm done ;)
Cherri 19. juni 2018 kl. 3:25
All good, any eta as to when you may have this mod functional again, also not hassling we just really like it :)
Sephumbra  [ophavsmand] 16. juni 2018 kl. 20:08
Yes, it can happen through mods or in our case just because the decay system is all busted up. In either case, im not risking any poor peoples stuff that might stumble across defunct mods that cannot be fixed atm.
Cherri 16. juni 2018 kl. 19:28
We did lose our stuff though, glad it's coming back but it kind of caused a cpl of issues with our server as well as another cpl of broken mods
Sephumbra  [ophavsmand] 16. juni 2018 kl. 3:32
It is coming back as soon as the devkit update hits though, no worries.
Sephumbra  [ophavsmand] 16. juni 2018 kl. 3:31
Yes there was. It messed with placeables and before any more people stuff got deleted because of the patch I just wiped it till the devkit is updated and this is fixable. Sorry for that, but better than people losing their stuff because nobody told them that this happens.
Greisyn 15. juni 2018 kl. 22:19
is there a reason why age of barbarians was deleted?
Sephumbra  [ophavsmand] 14. juni 2018 kl. 10:09
For anyone interested, I have created a more involved planter seed regrowth system in my other mod "Age of Barbarians". That mod includes some other changes though, so let me know if that is something you guys want.
Sephumbra  [ophavsmand] 1. juni 2018 kl. 18:14
I finally noticed the fire sounds planters do. It is easily fixable in the devkit and I did so in another mod, but just to let you know that im not going to touch the planters with this mod. So funcom can actually fix their own bugs for once ;)
Meih 21. maj 2018 kl. 12:42
Great idea no we need a version where you can farm seeds for oil and bread so increased dropprate version please :tgrin:
y-man 20. maj 2018 kl. 11:20
I like the infinite reuse.
DeMexi 20. maj 2018 kl. 10:55
I too would love to see a drop rate for seeds when using the planter, rather than a 1:1 infinite re-use.
Dark Thoughts 19. maj 2018 kl. 5:37
My idea was similar to the one from Lucky Lucatiel, though I'm not sure if that's possible to mod that way (but still kinda what I wish how it should be in game).
- Seeds are relatively rare but you have a chance to gain them through the planter, with higher percentages for the higher tiers.
- Compost lasts longer, more like fuel time instead of being just 1 yield.
- Yields are lower but through the compost changes more persistent, maybe slight increases in yield and efficiency through the higher tiered planters too.

It would not just make farming more like actual farming but even encourages multiple plots of the same plant due to the lower yields, higher chance to be self sufficent on seeds (especially with higher planters), and compost being not such an incredibly annoying and tedious production chain for just some extra yields that you could just get by grabbing more from the original plant anyway.

At least from an initial theoretical concept I'd like it to be like that.
Sephumbra  [ophavsmand] 19. maj 2018 kl. 2:41
Lucky Lucatiel, i might or might not make this as a seperate mod since i also thought about doing it that way, but it would defeat the current purpose of the mod. Thanks for the suggestion though.
meow 19. maj 2018 kl. 0:40
If I might make a suggestion or perhaps a request if you'd like to see it that way, I'd really like to see it as a percentage chance to generate seeds with higher tier planters and compost having higher chances and remove the "at least one seed ALWAYS" condition. Basically a low level farmer with only the most basic of materials will still mostly suffer the pain of potentially not getting seeds out of their planters, but higher level players with more materials and better planters get at least a 50% chance to get seeds back. Encourages level progression and also makes it feel a lot less cheaty.
Greisyn 18. maj 2018 kl. 18:03
alright thank you i appreciate you looking. its slightly anoying but we can deal with it :)
Sephumbra  [ophavsmand] 18. maj 2018 kl. 16:31
The devkit was updated yesterday and I did not touch anything regarding the planter, just the recipes. I don't have those noises so i can't really reproduce it locally
GarGhuul 18. maj 2018 kl. 15:29
The crackle sounds like the bug fixed a patch or two ago. Have you updated your Devkit and recooked the mod?
Sephumbra  [ophavsmand] 18. maj 2018 kl. 14:49
y-man, no idea about ark, but its pretty much like you described.
Greisyn 18. maj 2018 kl. 14:30
Removed all mods and installed only this mod still getting crackle after starting new game.
Sephumbra  [ophavsmand] 18. maj 2018 kl. 14:09
SGM Bishop, this should not have anything to do with the mod though. It doesn't change planters at all, just the recipes. My planters don't make crackling noises, maybe another mod you use or a torch could be the source?
UrielManX7 18. maj 2018 kl. 13:53
Yet another mod that should have been a feature from the start.
I remember the first time I use the planter with some aloe seeds and it only gave me aloe leaves and I immediately thought "where are the seeds, that's not how planting works"
Game devs nowadays keep on amazing me on the overlooks they do on blatantly logic design choices.
Greisyn 18. maj 2018 kl. 13:04
Planters seem to make a fireplace cracle noise, doubt this is intended, hopefully it should be an easy enough fix :)
Bearded God 18. maj 2018 kl. 11:40
love you
y-man 18. maj 2018 kl. 10:15
Is this the ark effekt ? So I can harvest all plants, leave the seed inside and some fertilizer and wait for new plants and a new seed ? Thank you !
Noxsa 18. maj 2018 kl. 8:53
ahha was about to make a mod for this :D but i'm lazy why make a mod when it already exist right ^^
