Doesn't launch. I don't think Shieldwall would be interested in this. They take very different directions. The character system here is very complicated and is probably going to take weeks to fix.

That's too bad. Have you thought about turning any of your work over to the Shieldwall team? They're a major mod that still updates.

I can't wait to try out this mod. I like all the features and your vision of this mod. The increase in difficulty through actions is a very nice touch and exactly what was needed vs the poor AI. I look forward in trying out this mod and hopefully will become a must have mod for ToB. Kudos for the hard work! PS: I noticed the recent update from the game revamped the combat system to a more predictable and boring mechanic. The sheer unknowingnes of the distribution of the (more elite) units made the games more divers and tension filled. Is there a chance of a submod of any kind to revert it back to the original one, even edited to tailor to the mod, if must be.

How about moving the followers to the trait collection as well? Never liked the level up feature for the generals since Shogun

Please, can you make a mod who I can give or receive cities. For example, when I will be win a war, I want to be able to choose the city that I want and the city that I don't want.

What difficulty do you recommend playing this on? I had such a breeze in vanilla ToB on legendary now I come into this, play it on very hard and I've got civil wars popping up everywhere right after turn 1!

@Drop_it_ @FireWaterFriday What you say os very true Drop_It, sorry for the late reply. The seperate parts has been updated, to be more balanced. There's also a light version. The reason why I'm not balancing this mod, is very simple - Steam will because of unknown reasons not let me update this mod. So indeed, downloading all the other parts, should create a more balanced game, it's probably save-game-compatible too, I can't guarentee that though.

@firewaterfriday download the mod seperate as opposed to this one its super fun im like 550 turns into my capaign and im very pleased with this mod its one of the only ones i have going other than battle and camera mods

I have the same question, I exclusively play on legendary cuz ive played total war for ages, sorry not trying to be a douche xD im gonna try on just very hard, but playing as the welsh or northumbria is like impossible. If your faction leader has more than 10 Influence, the scaling faction buff/debuff to Public Order, Fame and diplomacy vanishes entirely, and moving your cursor over the Influence bar in the Family Tree screen crashes the game.

Is that this mod features: attrition give -5 supply penalty ? even if i withdraw army to the main settlement, even is +food there?? my army dont start replenish about this -5 supply system ! WHY attrition (loss men>eat few) penalish so high ?? where can i found this value, i will modify myself. thx.

@TheZuma and just to update on that original point I brought up about the economists, weirdly on some armies it has made an effect, but most it doesn't still. Must be other penalties that I'm not seeing.

@TheZuma any ideas what I'm doing wrong here, it seems that every child in my family who comes of age has massively more influence than my king. Like my king has 11 and these guys are coming of age with 38 plus influence and so they rebel the turn after they come of age and there is nothing i can do to appease them. It unfortunately means that the 3rd and 4th generations of my faction have all been killed on the battlefield by their fathers, uncles, grandfathers etc. it kind'a means my faction is going to die out soon, of old age I mean lol. Any clue what's happened?

@TheZuma, how strange, so once you upload a mod to steam, you can't edit it anymore? How annoying for you. Like I said though, it's only a tiny thing with the general's economist not working, the rest of the mod is working fine it seems, and as I said, turns the game from great to superb in my opinion, keep up the hard work. :) If I think of anything else for your v 2.0 I will mention it. @mazz26 Damn, hadn't noticed that for myself... See, my problem is, I am for some reason not allowed to update this mod. Steam will not let me do it, even though I've tried getting around it through several ways with no success. The idea with doubled research sounds like a good idea too, but the same problem still stands. I may make a K&P: 2 with all those fixes, but I feel like the mod needs some more content first

Also one idea that might be balance the research out a bit, since I have found all my tech trees open from turn 1, would be if you maybe doubled the research time? or maybe 6 turns. Just an idea

Hi Zuma, I think your mod is excellent. I love Thrones but it was unfortunately slightly too easy. The ideas were great but the negative effects of these new mechanics didn't seem to have an bearing on your progress, your mod adds a new level of strategy and difficulty which is very welcome. However, just one tiny little thing, the economist follower doesn't seem to effect the upkeep of an army at all. It works for governors, you can see your income increase when you select an economist, but for generals it has no effect. I first thought it was because of the negative traits some of my characters have towards unit upkeep, - 15% for example, but I have done 2 or 3 economists which should then at least give a 15% reduction in that army upkeep, but still no effect on my income. Anyone else noticed this?

@Humor actually i havent decided which i like best yet but if you put in battle into the search bar the top 5 or 6 will be battle mods you can try out. i also recommend the annimation mod(will be in the list you searched for) as it removes the heart attack BS and has 100% kill annimations. Steel faith has the best mod ive tried for ToB BUT like 75% of that mod lashes with this mod and this mod does it wayy better than steel faith. steel faith is solly good for the battle mod aspect. hope that helps man! P.S i have found if you take out the brutal wars part of this you can have the battle mods active and it wont superseed them anymore.

which one of the mods do you think conflicts with the battle mods?<--- its the more impactful wars part. this mod would be so paerfect with a battle mod & ammimation mod(to remove heart attack and to have a more entertaining battle.

@[GREY]Hunor I must admit, I have too encountered myself that my mod unlocks the technology trees, however, it is not on purpose I have yet to figure out why this is occuring. Sorry for the inconvenience.

That's odd, do you have any other mods enabled? If so, list them, I might be able to tell if any of them are interfering with mine. Just to be sure, try looking at the pictures above of the followers to ensure you really don't have them.

well its so bad, my last two sons had influence 40 for example, that Estates and 'secure loyalty' wasnt enough to get them above zero resulting in a civil war.

Can anyone help me? I am trying to get just the improved family tree that this mod has. I've tried doing it myself but have failed and this is the only mod that offers it :(

I´ve been enyoing the mod greatly, but in my northumbria campaign (around turn 100) I´ve come to a point were every single one of my sons and grandsons has a starting loyalty of 0 (either because they have some stupid high influence like 40 or because their starting loyalty is really low). Its annoying me greatly that I have to kill every single one of my sons, because every single one of them wants to start a civil war.
