Not saying this is the exact same as the hot rod but people also very much don't like there's 2 identical eagles for soldier, not a really good excuse when people also hate what you're using as an example

A. multiple instances of the same item are allowed to co-exist. There is a big enough difference between this and the hotrod, not to mention the fact that game now features basically the same eagle twice. B. The hotrod is hot garbage and the only reason people wear that thing is because of the gimmick. C. that grin is inspired by the designs featered on WWII earoplanes, maybe keep from posting dumb stuff unless you know what you're talking about

It's cool but we already have a perfectly good welder's mask, this doesn't do anything new with the concept. 3/10 without the artstyle-infringing grin it be a bland mask

Yeah when I think of an edgy cosmetic item I think of an exaggerated shark's smile that's on a basic welding mask attached to a simple helmet.

Conceptually looks nice, but not liking the sacrifices you made for this model.
1) You can use the original helmet and set this as a mask, making it reliant on the helmet.
2) You could try rounding it a bit more so that it protects more of the face while not being too extruded. That was also one odd bit of this helmet.
