its a shame this doesn't work, because you guys spent years making it I use to play this in my free time a campaign every year since released but now that doesn't work that is such a sad ending to your amazing hardwork

Integrity is -14 on friendly territory......soldiers don't like to stay at home for too long in this mod I guess.

can only agree with what money said before. This mod isn't for beginners. it takes some time to get used to the economics and buildings and how the ai works.
It is one of the best mods ever made for total war (after Stainless Steel ofc) and brings out the best in attila.
I finished the roman campaign on mightmare and it was just an awesome but challenging experience.
the major problem imo is the ai in offensive siege battles. they just attack the gate and then build one big blob around it. other than that the other major bugs can be eglected given how awesome this mod really is.
fyi: ancient empires is being updated and reworked on under the name classical empires. the team there is pretty active and i think in a year or so we might have a completed and (nearly) bugfree mod that is nothing short of amazing.

Pure Zeitverschwendung. Da wo Attila mit 10000 Soldaten Feuer und Schiffen noch super flüssig läuft und das auf den höchsten Einstellungen, stottert sich diese Mod ein zu Recht. Das geilste ist die Phalanx, sie kämpft in 90 Grad Formation,auch um die Ecke.ABSOLUTER SCHROTT.die KI bildet nur einen Haufen von allen Einheiten und dann schickt sie 20 von 180 Soldaten die deine ganze Armee aufhalten.Das war meine schlimmste Erfahrung was Total war betrifft.Noch viel schlimmer als damals Rome 2 raus kam. Rome 1 ist 10 mal besser als dieser Schrott.Es ist einfach nicht spielbar, wahrscheinlich nicht für jeden.

Pure waste of time.This was my worst experience as far as Total war is concerned.Even much worse than when Rome 2 came out. Rome 1 is 10 times better than this junk.It's just not playable.

Played Pergamon, In 200 BC (around 10-12 mooves) game just switched off

So this part never loads. I subscribed to all components and this particular one, on the Mod Manager, is grayed out and the status is the cloud symbol. Tried starting the game and, as expected, no models or people. Maybe just their cloaks floating in midair

most of my troops are this ugly neon green color, anyone know why?

ill tell you why i hate this mode.. free they have found some courage .. flee again find some courage at the red line.. 90% of trops alive insta flee 80% of them some found some courage... cmon what is this bullshit. flee empires

Siege walls weapons are not in campaign battle. there is no place to place Ballista on walls in many cities such as Carthage and many others.

lastly, not at war? Cut your armies in half. Pay attention to diplomacy. Relations deteriorating with another faction? Start recruiting again. Pay off factions. Thank you AE team for what you have put together!

The majority of your armies SHOULD consist of cheap weak units. You shouldn't win every battle. I would assume that the majority of players that think Ancient Empires mod is any of the negatives I listed below are players that don't have the skills for this in depth of mod;For those of you that find this mod too hard or unbalanced here are some general tips: u wont have everything you want, all top tier stacks, zero squalor, no PO issues;Provinces should everchange;Put strong garrisons in your border towns. Tuck your economic provinces behind;Diplomatically gonna do things you don't want to;Micromange battles;Every move you make in any regard must have purpose and support another move you have yet to do;Have a plan. Get a notepad and calculator

I've never posted a comment to any mod/game on here before but negativity that strikes this mod really bothers me;see a lot of complaints:Too much squalor Not making any money Disloyal armies;Armies being too expensive Too hard and unbalanced My armies route too easily. Public Order is too unstable

Any ideas how to deal with public order? It's insanely low even in core provinces like Rome...

I have researched all technologies and built the highest tier of Legionary barracks and I still can't recruit Cohors(heavy imperial Legionaries) and Armoured Legionaries

For those who have troubles with DOWNLOADING the part 2 of this mod. I also had the same blue greyed download icon issue, as lots of people commented here.

SOLUTION: Just have ~30 GB of free storage in the drive where Steam library is located. That's it. The mod seems to be extremely heavy. It didn't download when I had 18 gb. When I freed 57 gb it worked just fine. After mod installation I have 34 gb.

I CTD after a battle, i can auto resolve just fine

Part 2 doesn't download. Has downloaded to my pc, but just remains a blue greyed out icon when I try to activate

For more clarification..... On steam it shows that I am subscribed to part 2 of 2 but when I go to mod manager to activate all mod it shows that the download is still taking place. Ive left my computer on just in case it was a large file but even after doing so over night the file did not download and have also shut down the computer completely. The game still launches but when going to the campaign start menu all faction leaders are missing their bodies (some clothes and other accessories are present. I really want to play this mod so any advice would be MUCH appreciated!

enemy small fleets keep attacking my city (Macedon) even when the outcome in my favour, heavily! it interupts the recruitment.. it is getting under my skin when it happens every. damn. turn., could you please fix such bug? thanks alot for an impressive mod!

Is there a mode to speed up combat a bit? Hoplites seems to fight each other for like 15 mins, not really what I'm looking for
