I'm having an issue that might be a feature.
When zooming in during battles the camera does not only zoom in, but also "levels" out at the same time. So I need to pivot downwards evey time.

Any ideas what I could do to help with this?

Ah I mean despite that it's still a pretty solid system in my mind i'd take it over rome 2


shogun 2's is my favourite I wonder if it would be possible to port it over some how.

Base game engine bugs and AI bugs. For example any tries on making combat slower will make it weaker as units that are walking (so for example AI trying to disengage) do not use their defence and get 1 hit killed. This lead to my levy troops routing AI elites when AI tried to disengage from combat.

Or that charge is broken and cavalry units are not even using charge bonus. List goes on. It is not noticeable if combat is made to be arcade as it happens to fast to notice.

Im currently playing radious maybe that is why I dont notice it too much.

Give examples?

IT is broken on it's own in many places.

Is this compatible with Radious?

Due to base game issues related with Attila/Thrones combat engine I just find it pointless to try and get any good results here.

It never needs an update, just enable out of date mods. This mod will even work for other TW games.

I don't have ToB installed and I probably won't instal it anymore so I can't press update button for the sign to go away.

I literally do not need to change anything, mod will always work.

@ ModestaKieran, I had the same problem in the past but I don't think is it related to this mod.

To fix it find the "preferences.script.txt" located in your "AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\ThronesofBritannia\scripts" folder.
Search for the line "sound_sfx_enabled" and change it to "true".

I hope it helps.

I've lost the effects volume in both the camaign and battle since downloading the mod. The volume goes down to 0 automatically and there is no check box for it either. Any help?

Got it. You would think they could've given it a name more desrcriptive than Intelligent Zoom....

N is used for most majestic and detailed screens you can get since it means models do not disappear when you are close to them and it forces the game to load better textures over long distance so you don't end up with spooky faces on some troops in the background. It is not to be used for combat view or stuff like that. Purely to watch details and take great shots.

I guess I just don't really understand what N is supposed to do. I see that it's mapped to Intelligent Zoom, whatever that means. I was hoping this mod would let me see more terrain while controlling the battle. I guess I could try using the mouse to control camera movement to avoid it zooming back down, but I'll have to adapt my brain. I'm probably misremembering how Warhammer 1 worked, as I didn't really spend a lot of time with that game.

No offense but that is base game button and that is also how it worked in Warhammer, Rome 2, Attila etc ;) You DON"T LOSE anything because you never had ability to move around with keyboard while pressing N.

No offense, but I exclusively use the keyboard with my left hand to pan and rotate in combat. Why do we lose that functionality when activating this mod? My whole goal to gain a larger view of the battlefield without losing functionality. I'm pretty sure that Warhammer 1 the similar mod doesn't sacrifice the ability to use the keyboard after zooming out.

When you press "N", you can scroll very close or far with your mouse and when you press scroll, you can look around. You just can't use keyboard.

I'm trying to use this so I can see more of the battlefield. I hit the N key which allows me to zoom out further, but as soon as I use the keyboard to rotate or move the map it reverts to the default maximum zoom. Is this how it's supposed to work? If so, what do you really gain with it?
