hi, there is problem with tree, there didnt drop no seed so we can't replant them

From what I have been able to read to the update date on the mod. This mod seems pretty dead right now. It may or may not work with many other mods right now. Unless the mod author decides to update it or someone else gets permission to update it.

@Tobias Sabathius I get 25 engine errors about the Jobs as soon as i start the game all that theres no alian from the jobs in the manifest. whatever that means

they can, but i think the autor ist actively updateing it anymore. the last update was
21 May, 2018. the reason people are still subscribed is probably the map, which is cool.

I'm new to Stonehearth, but loving it so far. I'm playing coop with my wife, and I LOVE the look of this map compared to the standard starting BIOME. I like the tall mountains. If we play on this map instead, will we still have all of the quests and progressions and monsters the the normal map would have? We're not giving up anything from the non-modded game, right? Thanks.

@Thahat I like how you imply that Tobias Sabathius has taken 5 years to make this, lol. This work-in-progress is a hobby activity, and is the result of the sum total of approximately 2 weekends work over the course of 5 years. He's sporadic, not slow, lol.

@castle gaming, the only answer i can give you is -maybe- this guy was working on this for like 5 years and got this.. so his speed isnt great :'') if you want a bit more fleshed out NA-but-more-viking look for my nordlingmod. came out slightly before this but has less PR :p (and a lot more stuff.)

hey is this still being worked on? they are so fun to play like the northen alliance but with a touch more viking in them i really hope it is being worked on :)

Problems I have with it.
1.spearman dont get level traits. so thy are already weaker then the standard footman.
2.some clothing are floating off of the chariters.
3.No archers, so together with the weak spearman you are in a disadvantage.
4.No tank class, you realy need to have more then 20 civilions and mass those spearman.
5.playing a diffrent kingdom, you can buy shields but thay are exclusive only for the spearman and warrior, so why even buy them.
6.has the same hearts as the asended

Things I love about it.
1.Hanging shields
2.rune stones
3.norselike names

Norse faction is now in Vanilla, do you plan to remove it and just propose the map ?

Or just rewrite the Glory Hearth quest to use Norseling soldier classes instead.

To summarize, with these limitations, I feel like playing Norselings (thus far) is essentially playing a neutered Ascendancy. Sure, the Norse crafters can make some unique decorative items (and I want to be clear that those items look AMAZING), but I've seen at least some of those in trade caravans as well, so they are obtainable by other factions, just more difficult. It's still fun and I'm very excited to see what the new update might bring. My recommendations would be to
1. Make the Taiga biome drop seeds
2. Make Norse farmers capable of farming herbs and trees
3. Add in the job abilities and text for the spearman/warrior and associated items.
4. Maybe include the ability to make standard military classes to complete the Glory Hearth. Players need not rely on them if they want to use the more Nordic flavor, but can still complete the quest. So, the Spearman and Warrior are 2 additional classes, rather than replacements.

Just some suggestions. Keep up the good work.

3. No archers. In fact, the military in general. As far as I can tell, they are literally just reskinned Footmen and Knights, but there are numerous visual glitches in the UI for them (job abilities are not listed anywhere, relevant items say "Equippable by a Lv 1" with no class name or icon, etc). But seriously, no archers. Again, this could be intentional, but I find it a pretty big drawback (no pun intended). I don't know how feasible this would be, but instead of removing the Knights and Footman, perhaps you could just give them a functionally identical weapon set with a norse aesthetic? ie Round Shields instead of bucklers. It seems you've essentially done that with the Spearman and Warrior equipment anyway.

4. The afore-mentioned floating clothes. However, I have at least 8 different mods installed and at least ONE of them also has this problem, so it may not be Norsecraft that's causing it.

So, I'm really enjoying the theme, especially the music and the custom items, but there are some issues I've noticed very quickly on starting my new playthrough with Alpha 24+ stable branch:

1. Selecting Hearth of Glory (or Honor, I forget) is impossible and causes Engine Errors. You cannot complete it as you cannot make a Knight or an Archer, but you cannot abandon it because every time you click on it, you get an Engine error.

2. Norseling Farmers cannot farm herbs or trees. Maybe this is intentional? Not sure. But, considering their "home" biome (the Taiga) has trees which do not drop seeds (which, in itself, is another issue), this could be problematic in the long run. Perhaps some traders will come by and offer them.

I too am having the issue with the clothing floating off of the body.

I really like this theme, but for some reason the Honor banner upgrade quest cant be finished now. Still wants me to have a lvl 3 knight and a lvl 3 archer which are not available in this mod. Is there something Im missing?

I'm really anticipating your update, i would love to use the new set hearthlings.

i havent played StoneHearth in over 3 months and now my brain is just screaming for me to play it again! ._. (And that is all thanks to you! )

I have a problem where their clothes (more the layers of the basic clothes you start with the gloves, shoes) will appear a few inches off their bodies. If anyone knows why id like to know why thanks :3

I think I speak for a lot of people when I suggest that until you fix the spearman you perhaps just re-enable the footman. For playability if nothing else.

Just letting you know Tobias, this only occurs for when the hearthlings aren't assigned a job. When they are assigned a job however, their clothes get reseted and the hearthlings look fine.

@tobias its cause of the cahnges the devs did to the default hearthlings models. give a shout if you need a hand :) (had to fix up my nordlings with the same issues)

Yes the update has changed something which has broken the outfits. I will have to look at it when I get back this weekend. Sorry for the inconvienience :)

Yeah, even with only Norselings activated, the shoulderpads, gloves, and shoes are displaced from where they should be in the Latest build. I've confirmed this with a couple friends as well.

I'm having the visual error Stauder is reporting. Shoulderpads are floating off my Norselings and idk why. I'm using LocksofManyHair and Armis Maximus if those are the possible culprit. In fact, I'll try playing again with just this mod on and let you know.
