My boys and I absolutely love your version of the Marines. And I'd like to ask for your permission to make a retexture version of your mod. I wanted to repaint your marines under the canonical colors of the Dominion army with appropriate decals.

Hello Benjamin, that's because the models itself are modeled in the "backpack" section of each marine (male and female), to fix it and if is possible, add/attach to your radgoll marine the respective backpacks, this "bug" can also be seen in tears for tarnors campaign in the last mission just right in the airlock part.

I have a bug report, Maps that use ragdolls for dead marines, the bodies are invisible with what looks to be like a ring or just an antenna sticking out. I'm currently using the other one that adds the old textures from the unreal mod to all the IAF marines. Just a bug I thought I would point out knowing that I'm making a campaign for Alien swarm and I prefer these models over the old ones.

Well, the main reason that, Sarge, Wildcat, Faith and Crash use Mercenary helmets are just to make them different of his class partner.

After some time playing, is there a version where everyone uses the "Top 4" marine models? Or vice-versa? I like the look of the top 4 marine's armor a little more and it'd be cool to have everyone have that same design

Neato, actually looks like a suit of dedicated armor and not an exoskeleton that only covers your limbs, and even then barely.

There are some animations for the colonist/citizen that work well for running with a gun. If you include the male_shared.mdl in marine.qc and open Reactive Drop: Tools Mode then you can see the marines using those animations correctly but their necks are broken in-game and/or they t-pose. Do you think it's possible to port colonist animations onto the marines correctly?

Animation It's a very tedious work (atleast for me, since I'm a newbie at modding) the idle animations that I edited are called lowcover_aim_smg1.smd, I don't rembember right now where I took the beta animations, also I tried to change the running animation but no succes

I couldn't find any animations that are like it for running. I did try to use the a_lowcover_allbody idle animation's arm positions on the running and walking animations but the arms go far to the left for some reason (don't even ask me on my attempt to use colonist animations for it, it was... demonic to say the least). They'd need to be manipulated into place but I don't know how to do that efficiently yet :( Maybe Harist could give some pointers :steamhappy:

Is there any animation that makes them hold the weapon properly when they run?
Because now they hold it properly when they don't move but when they run they still hold it in a weird way

Holy crap! I just figured out how you got that animation to work! It was so frustrating because I thought it would've been a_aim_neutral (as that's pretty close to what I found in the tool mode) but it turns out it was a_lowcover_allbody, so there's a few hours of my life wasted. There's some other cool animations that weren't used but I don't think any of them are applicable anymore :(.

I have no autoexec.cfg in that directory, or any directory in ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Alien Swarm Reactive Drop\.
Can I just create it and add the line, or should it be there? Game works fine otherwise.

Open/edit "autoexec.cfg" and paste "asw_marine_shoulderlight 1" in a new line (below all of your commands that you have in there)

Do you just add that in a new line? Or do you just add that line after "exec autoexec.cfg" in a cfg file called "autoexec?"
