@portfly @cerberus This mod potentially breaks any mods using Harmony 2 (which is most modern mods), not just the ones listed.

I agree that it's an amazing mod, which is why it's been continued in a new version that works with all newer mods (and adds some extra features, too). See LemonsterOG's comment just below yours for the link to the newer version.

Conflict with RICO,plop the growables,realistic population2 and lifecycle rebalance revisited. Whatever, it is an amazing mod!

@Chris6d I agree. Last time I tested the game back in April this mod worked with RICO Revisited because I had to remove the original because of the Sunset DLC the month before.

It's funny how in one day, a mod can just seemingly break.

Mod conflict with Ploppable Rico Revisited.. causing problems with Harmony Libraries.. results in Rico shutdown and in my case 40k citizens left my city in a week...

If you are one of those like me who has had issues between this mod and other mods due to the newest version of harmony.. Algernon has forked off Painter :) It doesn't yet have the Colorize / Invert options

You can safely UNSUB this one, SUB the new one and not have to repaint. I didn't personally use the colorize or invert options and I loaded up mine with no issues and no repaints. Copy and Paste work fine as well :) If you do switch don't forget to upvote it :)

@CityScapes - Yes. It is getting harder to maintain it being on, hence my double usually. :) I know of one individual that has stated they are looking into potentially looking into updating it for 2.0 Harmony.

@Allystrya Worked after the first load, but not after the second one. Hopefully there's an update coming soon...

@ CityScapes it is Harmony 2.0. If you unsub all of your Harmony 2.0 mods and TMPE, load to main menu, then exit and resub starting with the Harmony 2.0 first then it usually fixes the ability to change the colors. Usually.

Got issues these days too. Mod only showing the color purple, without any ability to change the actual color of buildings...

The harmony lib issue has the potential to cause inconsistent behaviour (works sometimes, then not others). Mod load order can factor into this.

I've reached out to TPB to see what I can do.

Same with @LemonsterOG. Before Sunset the mod barely works because the Colorize/Invert settings do not work. But when I removed a couple of mods due to Sunset, the mod now works again for me. I think there was a unknown mod conflict in one of the old mods I removed.

The paint doesnt save.

This started working again for me without explanation. I'm certainly not complaining, but it's odd.

Unfortunately, this mod uses a horribly outdated version of Harmony that breaks with current mods (breaking them, breaking this, or both).

SO all of the sudden yesterday I all of the sudden had it stop working after a crash. still trying to figure out what prompted it and keeping logs but it just up and stopped.. No errors in my log specific to painter. Thinking maybe harmony related but had other things I had to do today so had to put testing on hold today.

UI is conflicted with Customize it!

I can confrim with Thaliban that I also have the same issue. What I did is a couple things:

1 load a new save with the Painter mod unstalled and other mods enabled and they were fine,
2 enable painter mod with the other mods on the next load, the buildings(both vanilla and workshop) are all funky colors again.
3 load a new save with JUST painter mod and nothing else, and they are all still funky colors.

So yeah, it is for sure this mod. Maybe Campus DLC did something?. I mean it did after all introduce those varsity sport stadiums that have a similar feature, but just for their menus, not the whole asset. Just a thought.

I used this mod to change the colour of KingLeno's Campus Buildings, and just realized that several growable buildings in my city started to have all kind of funky colours.
Anyone else experoenced this?

I think there is a mod conflict, changing colors do not work for me even turning on the Colorize or Invert options.

@jennyloggins Doesn't seem to be the cause as i'm already subscrided to that mod

@rhmgerards and @accoriginal - you need prefab hook for those options to work.

Am I really the only one with this issue?

Since the metro overhaul mod update the invert and colorize options no longer work for me. Just unsubscribed from that mod to test and sure enough the invert/colorize works again.
