@Big Bucket I also was using this mod, but unfortunately another mod I'm using edits loot/loot.json, so they are incompatible. I made a new mod inspired by this one which does the same thing but doesn't rely on loot/loot.json. the prot stuff is very clearly not affected by this mod. as for the increased quest rewards, as long as it doesn't edit the loot file itself, it should work. otherwise, its incompatible.

Under Collected Journals, every entry is listed as Part 1 (even if it's 2/4, 3/4, etc). Is this normal?

Thanks so much for this mod, Koala. Unfortunately, it looks like this mod conflicts with VultureTim's Hard Earned Districts - All-in-One mod as well as his Blueprints mod since both edit loot/loot.json. Could you (or would you mind if I) make a patch, perhaps?

Well, I'd love the vanilla heroes, but the variety of healers always disappointed me. That's why I have added the itinerant cook, the lamia as well as the cataphract.
Additionally I love the beastmaster since he's tons of fun to play without being under/overpowered.
If you could add these four classes that would be great!

So does this work with modded classes, too? Because I saw a MarvinSeo version of this, but none of the other mod classes seemed to have it.

It doesn't seem to be working, I collected and read several journals and then removed them from inventory and when i got back to town they weren't there in ancestor's memoirs.

Not sure why but is stopped working. Journal makes the picking up sounds upon reading but it doesn't show up in collected journals after quest. And same chapters show up again

Excuse me, if I get the journals from crates but don't read (Right-click) them on the spot, or don't take the journals to my inventory, will it be autosaved?

There is no achievement thogh.
The reason I made this mod is because the game itself heavily discourages actually taking the journals as there is no purpose for them, since you can read them online. This is also why I won't make a PBD patch, since it incentivizes actually taking them.

but guys...you can just read these online...the point of them taking up an inventory slot is to balance difficulty, you have to sacrifice a precious slot to get the achievement and learn the secret past. :D This is cheating. Still, if people don't care i suppose its a good mod :D enjoy
