I wish that someone recreate this that way i don't have to use console commands like vpk file & GCFSCAPE.

Is anyone else having this issue? Voice low pitched and slowed. This applies to ONLY the L4D2 cast. L4D casting are doing great.

Hi, i am newbie for the steam version of this game.
Thanks for the content.

Btw, i have a problem. Every time i open steam, the game keep validating and re-downloading of the original voice files.

Anything should i do to prevent steam for keep deleting mod files?

Make a copy of the original file then put it back, then go into game and type "snd_rebuildaudiocache". If you did not make a copy, vertify your cache file.

The mod is pretty good, i just wish there were more voice lines, since there are still some of Ellis. especially in the second chapter, and when he finds the M60. Besides that, the voice covers up everything else.

It takes awhile for it to be complete. Once complete type "exit" in the console to exit the game.

"Hiseke", to use "GCFSCAPE", you just drag the vpk file into GCFSCAPE. It will then show you the folder for the voice. Since you download from the workshop, you can find the addon in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop. Make sure it's installed first, then go to the folder. (The vpk file in the workshop folder will not give you the name of the title of the mod, it will give you a bunch of random numbers. Just try to find it or you can go to the website to download it.)

To replace the voice go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\survivor\voice. Delete Ellis original voice folder (mechanic), and replace it.

After that, go into the game, open up the console and type "Snd_rebuildaudiocache".

Sorry if this is being a bother but can I ask for a tutorial of how to use GCFSCAPE to replace Ellis's voice folder. Or if you can relay a tutorial already made to use GCFSCAPE to replace sound files. Thank you for your creation, once I get it to work on my part, I will feel complete with l4d2 nico.
