И всё бы ничего, вот только теперь оружия вроде дробовика в упор не может убить голого бандита, порой по 4-5 выстрелов требуется.
С другой стороны без него берёшь какой-нибуть HK и ваншотишь всё налево и направо, золотой середины короче не достичь

I am not very interested in modding vanilla; it would also be complicated because I don't know what ammo types vanilla has compared to GEG which adds new ammo types for several calibers. Because of this some calibers could end up not having HP, AP, etc.

But if you are interested I can show you how to change them and you can reduce damage and penetration of vanilla ammos.

Is there anyway you could make a non GEG version? nothing against GEG, I just enjoy vanilla sometimes and this mod is great

Плотно общался с автором мода. Для всех кто начинает 7.62\GEG - это мастхев мод, без него нет никакого смысла переходить на калибры выше 5.56 даже в конце игры + дробовики ваншотят в тело в 3+ класса брониках. С модом появляется смысл 7.62+ калибров для стрельбы на дальние дистанции, т.к. 5.56 просто не пробивает на условном игровом излете, а также пистолетные калибры наконец-то начинают не пробивать 3а+ класс.

Согласен с Coyote. Играть интереснее только стало. Бронька хоть теперь стала более полезна и появился смысл в винтовках и дробовиках.

bioshockmaxa, В этом и суть. Смысл юзать калибры 7.62x51, .30-06, .300 Win, etc. если 5.56\5.45 легко ваншотят всех подряд, не смотря на бронь? Я поставлю.

Some commentary on this not noted above:

In vanilla HLA, the damage is so high that smaller caliber guns dominate because 9mm or 7.62 tokarev or whatever is enough to reliably one-shot enemies. There's not much reason to upgrade away from an MP5 and there's really no reason at all to use battle rifles. Even high caliber sniper rifles are mostly obsolete compared to 5.56/5.45 scoped precision rifles. This mostly just creates a purpose to use 7.62 nato and similar bigger bullets, but if you want to use 5.56/5.45, you'll probably still kill 70-80% of the time if you hit torso (100% kill headshot of course) and the shot isn't stopped by armor. Even 9mm kills reliably in 2 hits to the torso (sometimes 1, unlucky guy) with this damage reduction, so you can still use SMGs for their better handling characteristics or lighter weight if you want.
