That sounds not like a problem of the rails, more like a problem of the lines in CS are made. If you just have two stations the line will make so that the train can return easily. Basicly the switch from rail 2 to rail 1 is made before the stop.
Sorry if my wording isnt great.
Basically imagine that there are two stations, station A and station B. Both have stops that can be placed on the first maglev track side and the other. Well call them tracks 1 and 2. I can make a stop on station As 2nd maglev track or A2 If i try to add a new stop on station B instead of it automatically placing it at B2 50% of the time it will decide for me that the stop has to be on B1 regardless of what i do.
So i cant have maglev monorail trains going in both directions as the train will jump back and forth between tracks 1 and 2 at random stations.
The non maglev version of this station with the default tracks dont have this issue at all.
There is a strange thing happening though, and I'm not sure if it's the Maglev tracks, this station, or Monorails in general, but my cims are taking hikes on the Maglev tracks instead of taking the train...
Maybe it's the combination with Real Time which makes them give up after waiting too long on a stop.
Any thoughts?
It's in the monorail menu. Or use "find it", search for maglev, shanghai.
