Can someone update this mod for us? please we has a server of hardcore players needing a new progression tree..better than keens small blanket that doesnt really help .-.

@Gercio Thornstrike, first you have to build a world in a creative without this mod, put the blocks that you would like to use later in survival, only by creating a world in a creative without mod "Grind To Learn - [Multiplayer FIXED]" do save the world (play it safe and make 2 copies of the world), and then you put one of the copies of the mod and start in survival.

@Master , no youll have to make a custom mod for that.
@gerio , only thing I can recommend is that you spawn in a blue print with what you need and grind it off.

is there any way to add a setting in the config file that would prevent learning a block when ground down? so if the player were able to capture a ship, they would need to keep it and not just grind it down into bits?

is there a way to turn off the locked block setting? trying to use it on a scenario that already has blocks hidden but its impossible becouse it removes needed blocks to progress also trying to use moded blocks and it removes those as well making them impossible to use as they are not normally in the game

If you install the mod, use it and then at a later date remove it, how do you get all the blocks unlocked?

Is it possible to fix the Ctrl+g to enter build mode in a cockpit then press g again bug/glitch as it allows access to all of the blocks on the server this way?

I do not see the config file to change any settings. Is there suppose to be one? I have saved several times and it does not show up. I would like to change some configurations for my server I host.

Hey, any way we can get a full list of all vanilla blocks? I can't figure out how to add them. Or is there any way for a server admin to add all blocks to their G menu without having to grind them?

Fixing that is theoretically possible but the code to scan an entire blueprint and remove the blocks from the projection, or simply block people from welding them, would be too complicated to efficiently run on a server. Not to mention the process of coding it.

greyson, the projector itself doesnt bypass the unlocks. the usage of the projector does. you can build all the blocks in the projections, even if they are locked.

I understand the projector is a work-arround for this mod. Will welding a projected block bypass the need to grind?

Apparently, only people with admin rights get the unlocks...

So, not sure if this is just an isolated case or not but anyone joining our server doesn't get any blocks unlocked, even though the unlocks have been configured correctly. Grinding doesn't unlock the blocks, and no new user files are created in the storage directory under save file. The server does have file access etc, it just doesn't want to work.

It spits out the following error in the server log files: Thread:
1 -> ERROR: at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowKeyNotFoundException()
at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.get_Item(TKey key)
at Phoera.GringProgression.Core.UnlockById(MyDefinitionId blockId, Int64 player, Boolean force)

Hello, How does this mod work with modded blocks?, for example: i am using the MAC cannon mod and the ships/ buildings do not use these blocks then how can i learn then?.
