Best map ever made!

Это отличная и очень красивая карта. Мне потребовалось 12 часов, чтобы пройти ее в одиночку, имея всего 3 Pacific HDX и 1 131 для разведки и топлива. This is a great map and very pretty, It took me 12 hrs to complete solo, with only 3 Pacific HDXs, and 1 131 for scout and fuel. It is very challenging but if you know how to truck professionally it works fine as long as you take your time and think about how things work. Keep up the great work if you continue.

So long road and no sense of it... Along the whole map there's only 1 route to load and get back and that's the same road. That's all. Incredibly linear with no choice of road and risks - yes, that's very "atmospheric", thanks. It also has much more troubles for everything of it. The very only good thing is creative Discovery Points for scouts placed there and nothing more. If you are not a 3-4 extreme-friends party (who could really like it and pass almost easily), the map rating is strongly 1.5 of 5

Столько длинной дороги, а толку... На всю карту единственный способ проехать на погрузку и один единственный способ её покинуть. При этом, это всё один и тот же маршрут. Всё. Невероятно линейная карта, не дающая никакого разнообразия или выбора путей для движения - ага, очень атмосферно, спасибо. Так ещё и делает тебе подлости вдоль и поперёк. Можно похвалить только за креативность поставленных точек разведки, но не более. Оценка 1.5 из 5 (хотя 3-4 экстремала способны довольно быстро пройти эту карту и им быть может она понравится).

really great map, difficult and challenging, but the only part that's beyond difficult and is just hands down frustrating, is the amount of fallen trees which just stick out and freeze your truck. other than that this map is really engaging, doesn't bore me, and has had me sitting down for like 2 hours straight so far trying to rescue my Ural 375 with a ZiL-130 and 131 as it ran out of fuel with 3 log points on it.

This was probably one of the most challenging maps I've ever come across. You have to use pretty much every tool in your toolbox to finish this one. The second half of the trail across the river will have your trucks absolutely chugging fuel as you struggle through the mud and tight spaces, so be prepared to lug a LOT of fuel trailers to that part of the map. Scout vehicles with decent fuel and repair carrying capabilities saved me a couple times when my larger vehicles ran into trouble. My only issue with this map is there seems to be a lot of "low blows" where entire fallen trees are hidden among overhanging vegetation on the sides of the road and will often total even the largest of trucks at low speeds. I also had several instances on the paved sections where my trucks would sustain major damage from parts of the road with no obstacles or deformities to explain it.

This map took me three years of playing on and off and a bunch of restarts to finish. Very well made, but not for the faint of heart.

On one hand this map is incredibly well made, while the road seems straightforward there is enough to deal with if you don't try to get the watchpoints, which feel appropriately far from the main road. A small, 4WD truck is key to getting the watchpoints.

On the other hand, this map is really long. I was able to get a truck 98% of the way to the log station and ran out of fuel, and that alone took me a couple of hours. Might start it again with a friend or two but knowing that it will likely take 10 hours will probably keep me from playing it for a while.

The map is crap, ill-conceived, paved roads are located in some "fantastic" places. On the whole map there is only one road from the loading point to the sawmill, and somewhere 2-3 useless cuts, there are no branches and something like that. In simulator mode, alone, on default, without stmod, for one star - in general, it is almost impossible to go through. I barely made it past 14! hours, but it was more of a torment than a pleasant complexity, as it is with normal mapmakers. I had to fill all 3 sawmills on the highway Kraz, because there is no other transport for transporting logs on the map. The reconnaissance points are also located in some stupid places and it is not clear why they are needed at all on this map, since they do not give anything. In general, if you want a challenge, you can try it, otherwise I did not see anything interesting in it.

Spent like 7 hours on this map just looking for the watchpoints and sending a crane to the log site (fuel rescue included). Some places look scary to drive with a long load, but I will attempt.

Thanks for your thoughs on this map. I have the same mixed feelings about this map- often it's a pain in the a$$ but on the other hand it's very satisfying to master all these nasty spots you come along.
Maybe one day I will make a RoadTrip 2 for SnowRunner.

I don't know how to describe this map. On one hand its hell on earth on the other its probably the single best training map you could ask for.

If your selected truck has a weakness it will be revealed.
If you don't know how to get the most out of your winch this map will make you learn.

I had just finished all the challenges and thought that I had squeezed everything I could out of the game before picking up this map..

A good pickup or other off road able 1 star is essential (I used Cephapod's F150).

2 or 3 good support vehicles are essential

If you don't have all wheel drive you are probably going to have a bad time.

Long trucks can be used with moderate difficulty but wide vehicles will simply not work in most cases.

You will be driving at a 40-70 degree tilt most of the time so roll over resistance is essential.

Getting in is easy getting out is hard.

When in doubt just suck it up and stay on the damn road.

I both love and hate this map and would definitely play again.

Fantastic map! As a fellow map maker, I've toyed with the idea of a "one road" map, but I didn't have enough ideas to really fill a map. But this RoadTrip map is full of great ideas, executed well. I love how despite being a "single road", every section of road has its own character, and there are plenty of memorable landmarks so that I always knew where I was on the road.

A caution to aggressive players: do not attempt to complete this map with 1 star. There simply aren't enough non-starting trucks to give you the fuel shuttling capacity that you need. I found that the default truck mix is fine for giving a strong challenge without getting frustrating or boring.
