Try using "Historical True Start" mod, it kinda fix all the mistakes this mod has

Is there any way to fix this?
On my PC, this mod has a sub-folder (*) under "[My Documents]\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod", but I didn't see a settings.txt file. On the other hand, I haven't updated this mod on my game PC (which isn't connected to the internet) since I firse subscribed to it. So, it may be that the version I have didn't include a settings.txt file.
(*) on my internet-connected PC, the mod is in a .zip file, which I understand that the game dynamically unzips.
