@batman's jock, but they could heal a group faster with the gun, compared to healing with needles. You get less ammo, and you don't have an unlimited amount of healing nades (unlike needles obv) and you don't have a gun to deal with the specimens that get too close, so it encourages you to stay closer to your team. I can see PLENTY of uses, especially on hard or harder difficulties.

I don't see where this would be used. Medic's are able to throw their medic grenades (Healing team mates obviously) and they could also shoot darts. All this would do is add extra grenades to the medic, which last I checked, wasn't a demolitions class.
