works in simple spawners for wild ones
They definitely should be spawning on the Island, though they are meant to be somewhat rare by default.
We are playing on Ragnarok.
First of all we love your mod and it just fits into our RP project. However, we have a problem with the spawn. All normal Hyaenas are at the moment gone and replaced with "doggos". We can't figure out what the issue is.
Do you have any idea, how we can fix this?

This is an example config- all EXT locations need Ext_ at the beginning. This is the spawn map where you can get other location names! [ark.gamepedia.com] the example above will add Pliocruta to Sanctuary, where they roam the streets like stray doggos in the aftermath of the apocalypse. This goes into game.ini !
If you need help writing the line let me know and I'll do some Googling later to help get you started. :)
Any chance you could add a spawn code allowing for level specific spawning?
Always figured since it takes quite awhile to cook/upload the mod that I might as well make use of the time. ;P
