It doesn't have any other means of propulsion than NTRs.

Disable NTR to get extra boost in dV. But I do agree with the awful delta-v in combat. I built this simply because I want to use it in certain campaign. So I re-engined Gunship 2 and swapped all tanks.

Awful delta-v.
Maybe consider droptanks if you want to use essentially the same hull with low density propellant?
