Interesting, I did not have that issue, but I revised and separated them as much as the spacing would allow without having to add more length to the ship.

When launching in combat the missiles tend to collide right after leaving the launcher, then explode taking the launcher with them. The result either cripples the vessel or splits it in two.

I would look into unclustering the launchers somewhat, maybe using powered 50kW ones for flaks.
