I figured it out. If you sit in the gunner seat you can put ammo in the turret.

its called a supergrid, you can probably find a blueprint of one on the workshop, or you can delete the blocks around this, and then make a blueprint of the turret and save it

How do we load the large size turret you jammed into the small size grid? Can't seem to access the panels. This thing is a work of art btw, thank you for this.
