Can't use it with any expansions above conquerors. No option to use it on African Kingdoms or other

The 21 range limit is actually hardcoded into the game. However, that is only for line of sight - if you get a hundred range you will be able to reach the other side of the map, you'll just need spotters, which is actually kinda cool.

I get unbearable stuttering if I select any building with tech upgrades available. As soon as I deselect the building, the stuttering goes away. Any known way to fix this?

I am trying to play the "256 Tech mod - Trinth" with a friend on AOE2DE Edition, but everytime we click any building with technology the game lags extremely. Does anyone know how to solve this? yes i searched on the internet, but you find nothing about the topic, thats why i am asking here.

If you research a tech that adds a percentage to building or unit HP too many times, it will overflow and become negative, meaning that new buildings / units will have less than zero HP when created and die immediately. The trick is to research the tech again until it becomes positive again: it will add a negative number to the max HP, making it more negative, until it again overflows (or underflows) and becomes positive again.

Yeah, I'm having the same issue as spoken above...
Some buildings just explode and the villagers can't work anymore.

In order to activate it you need to create a match and under dataset (at the top) it should be one of those options.

can you modify it so post-imperial can work? i thought it would be hilarious, but you cant mine, cant build castles, and telling a trade cog to move makes the game crash lol

Villagers with 256x Wheelbarrell--LOL! My personal favorite is siege weapons/towers destroying everything on the map.

Playing a different 256 mod (256x + massive resources, conscription hastens research/build times), free techs do weird things. With Vikings, they get wheelbarrow and handcart, but then it cycles back and forth between the two. Good because with the 25%->50%->25%->50%... they can carry 1000 tree before bugging out, as well as can get 8000 gold without skipping too much. Other civs have big issues with only wheelbarrow.

The civ that got blacksmith tech, and another that gave free mill upgrades, those locked you into the higher tier on the next age while only giving 1 of the previous ages' techs. Really bad.

For anyone with the bug that villagers start twitching when you get too many gather speed upgrades, research wheelbarrow 1 at a time.

You need to select the Data Set when creating a multiplayer lobby. In single player you can select the Data Set inside the lobby. Whether this mod is compatible with other mods depends on the type of mod. It can be used alongside cosmetic mods, but not other Data Set mods.

Whilst I was playing, I would upgrade hoarding and masonry. When my castles hp would reach over 30.000 it would auto destroy itsself, is there a fix to this or is it something in the game that cannot be changed?

Works on my end. Try manually deleting the mod in the mod list (accessible in the main menu under Steam Workshop) and then resubscribing.

I can't reproduce the bug on my end. If you could share a recording of you starting the game using the mod and then showing that it doesn't work, I might be able to help you.
