Fix the Iron Lamp crashing the game
Collapses the game to the taskbar. No unlocking options
Partly because you can't stop your hearthlings from using specific wood, I might buy cactus logs, but my carpenter will use it for regular wood chairs.
after a while i'd notice things would lag out quite a bit...
which kinda sucks as im on a i7 4790 with a GTX970.... and 32GB of ram ='<
anyways after doing a clean install and checking each job i install one at a time,
i noticed comments made about lag that seems to be similiar to the ones ive been having
so it got me curious
Anyways, turned out the problem is more the game itself, not really the mod.
I deactivated the finery and only play with some other mods for item variations. And these ones don't seem to kill the game that much. Will try a few scenarios and see what happens. log file will follow then :)
Specs (since the upload links are always removed x.x)
Windows 7 64Bit
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
16 GB RAM
Motherboard: Asus Prime A320M-K (AM4)
Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 6gb
I think I also reinstalled the whole game once.
The reason why I believe it is the finery mod is that as soon as I use the mod the UI, especially for the carpenter, is almost collapsing. At some point I get the sound you usually get when you open a crafting menu but it takes a while until the UI really appears. And when I want to craft something the game needs again a lot of time before anything happens. And that is getting worse and worse. I think the UI might be kinda "overloaded" since there are A LOT of new craftitems :D Sometimes I can't even click anything properly. Even pressing ESC takes a lot of time before the menu shows up.
Is there anything you can do with some kind of a fix? Do you need specific information I could give you?
Really good job, tho. Looks awesome and adds variety I really missed :)
