No worries. I wish there was some kind of error message to try and pinpoint the issue. It's an odd issue. If I enable your new version in a new game and put them in, save and reload, then everything works. The problem only happens if the old version is already on the map. Apart from the changes you made to the main lua file did you change anything else?

And no, I don't have DMA residents, but I have tested this problem quite a lot to get my 600 hour save game working again and the problem is definitely caused by the last update and not some other mod.

@General TSo, that is correct. I have multiple saves of my current main game. The one with the year before 2003 loaded fine after the update. The post 2003 save game would not load, until I reverted to the old version of this mod. No error message in the log file.

Judging by the way my different saved games work I think the problem only occurs when loading a game once your vehicle is actually on the map. Not necessarily from a saved game when your mod is enabled. Not totally certain but that seems to be the way it worked. Hope by some chance that this helps shed some light. on the subject.

I'm having the same problem. Your latest update causes my saved games to crash when trying to load them. I had to revert to an old version of your mod.

How do I restore the old version of the mod and load the save game again?
