Very nice level! First attempt at clearing this one was something else in terms of difficulty, but after the 2nd time its not too bad! Really like how smooth the 2nd floor can get after figuring out some good route in there.

А что? Очень даже таки не плохо! Не смотря на то что оформление уровня практически одинаковое автор разнообразил уровень. Над последним уровнем больше всего потел. Мне нравится!

Your first time on a level will always be the most difficult, you're not expected to full combo it or anything right off the bat, you will have to figure it out and that's the point of how HLM2 levels go.

You can still remember enemy positions regardless, it's not exactly an issue if you go into it knowing what to expect this time - that's what makes HLM2 replayable

And to the SHIFT key mention, I religiously use SHIFT to the point that even that couldn't pick up enemies that are offscreen.

Ahhh, another 'git gud' troll. If you're not going to accept my valid criticism with an actual thought out response, there's no point even trying to communicate to you, especially since I've noticed I'm not the only one with these issues with the level.

Both HLM1 and HLM2's levels typically have only one or two paths, linearity isn't exactly a bad thing though - ironically having more paths in a level tends to make it easier and involve less "Tactical Thinking".
Players should have to figure out how to solve a problem in a layout with a clear and concise path, rather than a clusterfuck of random rooms bunched together with 15 different entrances you can haul through with a butter knife.

Don't go into it expecting something like HLM1, that's far from what I was going for.

HLM2's gameplay relies on learning the level's layout and enemy positions, you're not going to wipe the floor with a level on your first try. You're guaranteed to die and repeat things until you get it right, that's the point of Hotline Miami - This is how people eventually get familiar enough with a level to full combo it like Dead Ahead.

You can't complain about offscreens or open spaces, that's entirely what the SHIFT key is for - if you don't scan around your environment and memorize enemy positions and behaviours then of course you'll repeat those same mistakes you made.

A beautiful looking level that suffers heavily from what makes Hotline Miami 2 frustrating. Offscreen enemies and too many open spaces makes for some super cheap deaths, as well as an over reliance on using guns. I found myself getting stuck because I didn't bring a shotgun onto the next floor transition, which again just adds to false difficulty It feels like despite how wide open the map is, I'm railroaded into one path and any other tactics simply fail.

As much as I want to like this level, the enemy placement needs serious work before I'd want to replay it.

Memorisation of the level layout and enemy placement is also important, most people eventually learned the trick to full combo Dead Ahead after several times replaying through it. It's pretty much the main gist of HLM2

Try using shift more, and memorizing enemy positions. Learning the level is a part of the difficulty and has been for most of the main game's levels.
