Is this mod still good? I saw your newer mod, but I really like this one too. Yea could be toned down like you said, but the unique shared between 2 civs (all this i already said on the other mod) is great and the like to special water desert yields. But also, that Worship building cloning was pretty special, but I would have really loved to use some version of this mod, with Sukritact's Egypt Rework mod, that already takes out the Sphinx, to be usable together, even if you have to take out or move around that weird Nubian Pyramid.

This mod is really good as is. I’d only suggest increasing the building cost. Or, if possible, have a higher cost multiplier so that it starts cheap in ancient times, but as you get closer to the future it costs more than other districts.

Please can you add an option for only Nubia, because i use egypt rework by sukritact, and it is very unbalanced the two buildings together.

To add onto ziyakaz comments, the Amun-Ra district doesn't seem to gain any adjacency bonuses from leylines. Not sure if intended or simply not updated.

This is definitely one of my favorite mods. I really like what it adds when playing Nubia.

The worship beliefs given to the Temple of Amun are not up to date with the current version of the game. For example, selecting the Gurdwara worship belief gives 2 food to the Temple of Amun, but it does not give the extra housing. This appears to only be the case for worship beliefs that have been changed in game updates.

Additionally, the Nalanda city state's unique improvement does not give an extra faith yield for adjacency to the Precinct of Amun-Ra. This is also a more recent addition to the game.

The Suguba unique district for the Mali also does not get a bonus for adjacency to a Precinct of Amun-Ra (where it does for Holy Sites and Lavras). This is probably pretty niche in its relevance, but worth noting.

Hi P0kiehl. First of all, i like your mods! It really gives some extra flavor to the games.

Second, I am using this mod, but it seems it does not replace the Meeting House.
I have a game where I can both build The Temple of Amun and the Meeting Houses in my Holy District. Is that supposed to be?

hey im having an issue where the Amun-ra is appearing as the diplo quarter, and im not sure if its related to this mod or another is the source but the goverment plaza is appearing as the zulu unique district as well

Hey p0kkiehl, I think this mod is causing a crash when using the Rise and Fall ruleset, it looks like you try to add adjacencies for FEATURE_FLOODPLAINS_GRASSLAND and FEATURE_FLOODPLAINS_PLAINS, which only exist in Gathering Storm.

I want to report a bug.
I noticed while playing today that the religious artifacts I had previously placed in the temple of Amun were deleted from the game. I suspect this happened because the dominent religion in my capital (where it was built) changed a few times, which probably altered the stats of the building and changed the amount of slots it had available (the foreign religion had cathedrals as religious building). It was a real shame because I had filled it up completely with awesome artifacts like the ark of the covenant and stuff, really sad they are gone now.

Anyway, otherwise I love the mod, it's nice to have more unique districts in the game and this is a really fun one. Thank you

Am I crazy... This is the only mod I have loaded and I can not seem to build the Naos building no matter what I do! Does someone else have this problem or am I missing something?

Nevermind I fixed it myself with a couple edits to the files. Seems the mod was calling for floodplains on grassland and plains, which I assume is Gathering Storm. Removing the bonus to them fixed the issue I had.

Not sure why, but even with this being the only mod on I get an error message when trying to load. I have the needed DLCs and on the enable screen it says it matches my version of Rise and Fall. Any ideas on how to get it going? I'd love to give Egypt and Nubia these districts.

Leugi's Israel mod was causing my issues with unique buildings. Not sure if that will help anyone else.

I'm not sure if it works with Real Buildings Upgrade - depends on how that mod is coded and the load order.

@Rootimus - then it sounds like what you guys are experiencing is another issue, maybe a mod conflict. I've got no idea though, sorry - it's hard for me to fix something that I cannot replicate.

FWIW, I can also build the shrine and obelisk when running this mod. This isn't the only mod where this happens, either. Yesterday I played with the Civitas Philippines mod and could build both the market and its unique replacement.

I just tested it again - historic moments show up fine, and the building replacements are working fine. I don't know what you're talking about, unfortunately.

Hi! Thanks for the mod. Two issues though: (1) Historic Art ain't showing and (2) the buildings don't replace Holy Site buildings, I can build them both (Shrine and Obelisk for example).

With regard to Building_Replaces I'm going to go right ahead and eat some humble pie - you used the underscore in the comment for that section and my brain derped thinking it was the actual code.

The log errors I posted still stand - I just got rid of the existing copy of your mod, re-subscribed, deleted the game's cache files and still got the exact same error. I'm getting the exact same error the Civitas Switzerland mod, too, if that will help anyone figure out what's going on.

As far as I can figure out, the game is just being bloody-minded.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. First of all the mod has no errors. Second of all, it IS using BuildingReplaces correctly.

Building_Replaces should be BuildingReplaces in AmunPrecinct_Data.sql

When I correct it the game flat-out lies:

[4000166.542] [Gameplay] ERROR: no such column: ReplacesBuildingType

The column is quite clearly present in BuildingReplaces, but even using a SQLite browser and copying / pasting table and column names directly into the command window still results in it claiming the column doesn't exist.

Frustration level: rising.

Hi everyone, mod has been updated. The Historic Moment art will now show up properly. The bonuses from the district and buildings now apply to all floodplains, not just desert.

Updated for Gathering Storm. I decided to limit the abilities to just Desert Floodplains rather than all the new floodplains. I may do something with Floods later, but since that is the Great Bath wonder's ability, I don't want this to be stronger than a wonder.
