yeah, the "Family Duty" makes it impossible for the female generals (Hellenic and Roman) to acquire any skills. Please update for Ancestral Beta, or when the next Update releases in August.

As Sun the Winter stated female generals are hindered by "family duty" its a trait which effects can be editted in "Trait_level_effects" removing the tag that disables skill progression would be enough to fix this minor issue.

Yeah, for Macedonian Female Generals you aren't able to pick any skills. It gives the "Family Duty" buff that disables skills.

@ OmiidEroica like zeN/10/ said , you can rename it and it will work for DEI. I did it some time ago and it works. If you look at oficial submods for DEI made by Dresden you will see that they have the number 1 in the beginning of the name. So 1 or 0 or @ , anything that makes this mod load first will do the trick.

rename the mod and "0"infront of the mod's name so it does not get overwritten by dei

Although the mod is in and of itself quite good, I can't help but wonder just how unrealistic this change to Rome 2 is. Call me sexist ut I do not think women were allowed to command armies in the hellenistic/roman/punic world. Like, I know about Boudicca and shiet but I think women leading roman armies is kind of irrelevant.

Ok, for all the guys and gals having problems using this mod with dei, LISTEN UP!!!
All you need to do is CHANGE THE NAME OF THE MOD FILE BY ADDING "0" IN THE FRONT!!!
By doing this, you will change the loading sequence of your mods, so that dei does not override this mod!!
