Man, spawning A ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 8 ADULT ARACHNOIDS on open area (level 6 final) simultaneously IS difficult, but IT FRUSTRATING and BORING lol, same applies fo ♥♥♥♥♥♥ space monkeys at level 7 - just WHY you came up with idea to spawn A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HUNDREDS of them? I just don't understand.
I would write much more, but that's enough. Just... Don't play this campaign. Don't be like me
As for enemies, I feel as if "Rocket Technopolips" feel completely out of place and unfair, as they were clearly meant to play a role only in the Ugh Zan fight of the vanilla game. And most importantly... turn down on some of these Witch brides and Cloned soldiers. Those rendered most of the campaign completely annoying to play.
Overall, I find both, pleasure but agony in playing this campaign. It is simply a huge stepup from the original campaign which I enjoy. But the biggest flaw with it are some spawner locations, duration and certain enemies, which can have take drastic turns between fun and boring fights. A cool campaign with potential that could use a lot of polishing regarding spawners and enemy placement.
The final fight of "The Dark Bride" was actually enjoyable once I managed to figure out what to do, and I managed to beat it saveless on serious difficulty. But you can still cheese that one by using Werebulls to your advantage.
"The Power of the Underworld" is an overly exaggerated fight with way too much to humanly keep track with, but found a cheese that allowed me to win over the battle (Using Werebulls, a missing invisible wall, coincidence?).
"The Guardian of Time" has a suspicious little cave put at the start of it. What the hell is that for?
And overall, some fights do take really long, presumably to fill in that 10k enemy gap. I guess it's exceptional for the final level specifically, yet it is still tedious
I've played through all of your levels on serious difficulty, some moments were truely enjoyable, as for others were completely annoying to clear out, some spawns are extremely late or just in too close proximity to the player that makes for a terrible first-time experience. Though, every level is indeed beatable, I am actually having fun playing through your levels savelessly and finding out about new crutches. Speaking of which...
maybe it's a spawn bug or error or smth with the 'rocketeer invasion' in secret place with croteam.
