This is one of my favorite mods, i've used it for years at this point I think, an absolute necessity for all of my playthroughs.

I have seen that others are/had trouble crafting the saddle, that is not my problem. i have double engrams for the saddle in my inventory (the same saddle). but when i equip it the saddle is completely the wrong size- WAY to big. but at leas the creature is ride-able, even though i can't see around it. :steamhappy:

yeah bug with smithing still going. cant make saddles cause they wont show up on the smithy. please fix

Love it, but when you move the Salta, it starts to gradually bend into the death animaton and glitches. Only when you stop moving the dino goes back to idle stance. Love it, but fix please. Maybe its a bug on The Center but IDK.

Yeah I can't figure out why it doesn't show up in the smithy, both saddles are basically cabon copies of the Bronto ones. Sorry people.

The engram shows up in the player's crafting section, but you can't craft it, even when you have all the materials.

For now try looking in your player's crafting section. I'm still working on figuring out why it won't show up in the smithy.

I'm not able to craft a saddle either. No engram appears in the smithy. :(

hey there not sure if this has already been mentions but there seems to be a bug where the saddle needs a smithy but only appears in the on person crafting menu?

Coyosoul I think you may have a mod conflict have you tried unloading your mods then loading your core files then salterasaur then the others 1 by 1 for testing?

@Faded Kitten lmao an otter big enough for a platform saddle would be nuts, and annoying to feed. I like my saddle animals to be food generalists not picky specialists. Glad to see the Salty getting some love, this was one of the first sauropods i remember reading about as a kid and getting to see it roaming my ARK is a real treat ^_^

I'm listing a Bug with the saddle & Platform saddles they require the smithey but don't apear in the smithy they are located in my crafting invantory under saddles just a heads up should be a fast fix.

It does spawn naturally. In fact, I think I may need to tone down the spawn rates in the next update. It will spawn on Beaches and in Grasslands.

Alright, I'm no texture artist, but with the meager resources available I think I've ended up with a decent solution for differentiating the Salta from the Bronto, a new texture showing armor plates on both flanks.

I would love to add the armor plates, but for now it's just a resize of the Bronto. This is my first mod for Ark and changing models is quite complicated. I do plan to see what I can do about adding those though.

Saltasaurus has plates and small spike on it's back, how about adding it? I think the dino should have own head model, because it looks just like smaller Bronto. I know it's a new mod, but that's only a suggestion.

I just took a look at some images and saltasaurus has some form of armour on it's back, perhaps you could take the black plates from the anky and put them on the saltasaurus? but it is a cool mod though!
