I take it you're new to SFM. After subscribing to this page start SFM in SFM after loading a map there's a plus button click 'add model' on the drop down then in the search bar put 'Phobias\General\Sun_&_Planets\sun_&_planets.mdl' may take some time to pop up depending on how many models it is loading up.

I did give it a ring you got to bring it out with the shape key as explained in display pic 5.

why does saturn not have a ring?

I solved the issue, it was just SFM being glitchy.

I don't know what to tell ya, that way has always worked for me. Normally when something don't work for me I go to the source filmmaker discussions and post a thread explaining in detail what isn't working and what I've attempted so far. And just wait a day or two for a reply otherwise you're pretty much on your own. I wish you luck finding a solution.

I tried that yet it didn't work, i tried doing it on both the model and roottransform and it didn't do anything

In that case looking at the other moon models there arent any that have bumpmaps. I tell you what though I'm going to leave a message with the only guy who's done a 3D moon model (Soldier) asking him if either he put a bumpmap on his model or one of us can put up a bumpmap material on the workshop for people to throw onto his moon model. This might take a bit of time depending on how soon he will reply to me but I will tell him in the message that if he don't get back to me within about 24 hours from me messaging him I will go ahead and submit the bumpmap onto the workshop. However because it's his model if he asks me to take down the bumpmap off the workshop I'll have no choice but to take it down so don't hold your breath.
When and if I submit the bumpmap onto the workshop I'll even do a quick tutorial showing how to apply the bumpmap onto the moon model. Fingers crossed this'll end fast and smoothly.

@sune.hoersted.jensen in the "Animation Set Editor" look for the model's name file, once you found it click the little plus just to the left of it. Just under the model's file should show "Body" and "unknown" open up "unknown" and it should show a shape key called "Show/hide/ring" make sure you're on the "motion editor" or "graph editor" before you use the shape key. Slide it all the way and the ring will appear.

@NootMare I've put up the pluto skin now that I found decent mapping. Also pluto is a planet cus google says it's been classed as a "Dwarf planet" I have to question what part of "Dwarf planet" says it's not a planet? When all it is stating is the planet's size.

@Pidgeon All I could think of is for you to unsubscribe then resubscribe. It don't make sense why you can't find the model.
