you know you can just change the grille texture into car paint when placing the grille? That's what I do for license plate cutouts

Thank you so much for this! I use these to make for license plate cutouts on some of my cars and it's super handy since they removed the grilles without, well, grilles!

If you're on the stable branch, wait for it to update (should be next week). If you're on the open beta branch then I don't know, maybe try unsubscribing and restarting steam and resubscribing.

I don't get why you'd need the files if you're going to make new parts. Just make them from scratch. The existing ones would require too much editing to make them into round cornered ones and besides they're not gonna look good in game anyway so I'm not gonna take part in that. Just make your own mod and if you actually can make it look good, kudos to you.

I need the files my boy, when they go into automation through the workshop they end up going into a state where I cant edit them or copy data from them

You don't have to ask my permission to do that :D But it's not a matter of skill or experience, it's just not technically possible to make these look good with round corners due to the way fixture stamping works in the game.

This is an awesome idea and I look forward to seeing what can be done with them. I love the Automation community for really picking up and creating such a variety of fixtures for us to use. really helps the relatively limited selection of car bodies go as far as possible!
