I know that paintability increases an item's desirabiltiy for players. But I think it looks really odd when the collar and cuffs are painted. I would actually prefer either no paintability at all.
Or only the very top edge of the collar and cuffs having a small stripe in a different colour (if painted).... but I guess in that case the paintable area would be considering so marginal as to be unimportant?

That would be cool, but unfortunately you have to consider team recognisability :P
